hi guys....i have a question. plz if any one can answer it for me..>>AOS Package Scanned, IV Package Scanned, what does it means ? how do i know if it got scanned ?and can i see in any website that my IVor AOS got scanned ?

When packages are Scanned in, it means that's the date NVC input it in their system. You'll get to know the scanned date by speaking with NVC rep, there's no place on any website where it will be indicated.

Yes u r right my husband used to say that a marriage which lasts for 5 years and both are happy it lasts forever. But now I tell him that a marriage which can go thru this torture and pain can survive anything. And we don't have to wait for 5 years now to find out so all of us who go thru this I think come out a lot stronger than before and hey not just until I reach US, we can keep annoying each other even afterwards sleep tight!!!

It seems our AOS status on the site has changed from Paid to N/A. I pray this means a case closed.

July 11 scanned date. I thought I could get the CC magically, but at the same time I had thought of check list as well. So received check list for original documents. Sent them now

I know, I hadn't snd them originally. My spouse was skeptical of sending the originals and so now we together pay the price of waiting longer

Awwwww so very sorry to know this, I think it's a good idea after you send the originals in to get another set if possible I know it's a pain but it will save ton's of time if they are lost. Wish my poor husband had time to get a second set of original documents. Good luck to you and let's all pray that NVC speeds up, miracles do happen.

When DH gets back from America, hopefully next week with all of our "re-establishing residency" documentation, and i-864 from our co-sponsor we'll be submitting everything. I'm trying to decide whether we should do EP (which I'm leaning towards) or snail mail which people seem to prefer on here. Is there really a big difference in the processing times?

I see a lot of talk the last couple of months about sending in the IV package before being invoiced or completing the DS-260. Does anyone know how to do this if you're doing EP? If the 30 business days is true we're looking at Sept.23rd, and if 60 days is true than we're looking at October 10th for the IV fee to be unlocked. If I can shave even a couple weeks off of our case complete time, that would be awesome.

It sucks that we will just miss the cut off for the new fees. How does it make sense to charge more for something that is taking four times as long?

I was sorry to hear about your checklist... I had the same thing (checklist on the AOS) about a month ago, and it was very discouraging... but now I'm surprised at how fast the month went by... and last week I got a false checklist when they reviewed the IV docs, asking for my checklist response even though I sent it right away, and it said "allow 30 business days to review the checklist response" So I hope they are doing those a little faster... good luck with the checklist!

Thankyou fr the wishes! After how long did u receive the email? I was checklisted Thursday. and still haven't recieved any email from them. 2 precious are already lost. Once I realized I made a mistake (several but had ton's of help) I sent it right away I didn't wait for anything. If you know what they want I would send it. Hope Mobar comes in to answer you have until Tuesday to decide. All will be fine just a few more days than it would have been and I think they are moving a little faster.

Yes I don't think we would wait more than Tuesday. It's just so so stupid to send false checklist right away and make us wait for real one after issuing it after 50 frigging days Urghhh. Nvc is a mad house.
