Thankyou so so much all of u guys! It means a lotttt really. I don't know what I would have done without VJ in all this time! And yes u guys were talking about ppl who live together for a short time and then get apart so I lived with my husband for barely 3 weeks and I have been living life without him for close to 2.5 years now (including 8 months that we were engaged) so yeah we couldn't have things as strong as old couples here and yet facing this distance is really really harder for people like us I think. But since we have faced tha worst now I do think that it doesn't take ordinary love to face it and we must have stronger bond than I used to think we have. But we will all make It to the finish line soon now :) can't wait for this nightmare to be over and can't wait to cheer for u guys on having case completes in a couple weeks and I really do mean it :luv:

We paid our AOS fee a couple of weeks ago, jeez I sure hope we get to pay our IV bill before the cost goes up but in saying that, what's the bet they just hold us over til after the 12th, lol!

You should be getting it soon i submitted my DS-261 on the 13th of July which looking at your timeline isnt to much earlier then you so you should have it soon :) hopefully in the next few weeks

Yes u r right :luv: my husband used to say that a marriage which lasts for 5 years and both are happy it lasts forever. But now I tell him that a marriage which can go thru this torture and pain can survive anything. And we don't have to wait for 5 years now to find out (L) so all of us who go thru this I think come out a lot stronger than before :yes: and hey not just until I reach US, we can keep annoying each other even afterwards :rofl: sleep tight!!! (L)

For all of us doing an Immigrant Visa, anyone that has already paid the fees will not be subject to the second part of the notice where we have to pay the difference at the interview.

However, if you have not paid the fees by September 12th, you will be subject to the higher fees.

Also, if you take a look at my signature, it took 32 business days between DS-261 and IV fee being invoiced. However, some have waited less than that, and some have waited longer.

Thanks for clarifying. I hope ours will be invoiced before Sept 12. Hehe. :ph34r:

It hasn't failed yet. Start the celebrations. If you're really lucky, you'll scrape in an interview date by the end of Tuesday, before the scheduling window closes for the next two weeks.

Oh i pray this is true. Thank you. This has been an emotional process from the beginning. It's hard to celebrate until I see my husband.. My docs were scanned July 8th. I hope we see case closes for so many. I really wish everyone the best.

just came back from home spent a wonderful time with the wife and family traveling attending weddings, the beach you name it. and big chance to forget about NVC. hanve not checked the site once. Now back the the grinder.
