Hey dear :) I went to sharm el sheikh for a much needed vacation now back home trying to figure out the stupid checklist for my marriage certificate :( we sent an authorized one in English from the sharea court with the stamps and everything now they want the Arabic one I guess

Sharm El Sheikh Egypt? Not sure there is another one heheee, happy you got to rest finally . Yes we sent both in but still need to wait for them to review all docs. Boy you know I think they do all this on purpose, it can't be they are this stupid to lose/misplace things. But I do know they want both the original and translated of every document you send. Hi VJ friends, a little update from my part. I am in Atlanta almost 3 weeks, enjoying my time with my husband, busy running around for SSN , drivers license etc. I finally read all 332 pages in here :yes: , I am happy for all the CC and amazed by the delays 60 days, #######? I wanted to let you know, you will forget this horror story that is NVC and you will enjoy a normal life (I promise you). It looked like nvc didnt work this whole week. Maybe they were soo excited for the long holiday. I was expecting my aos will be review this week but it didnt. July 17 here. Praying for no checklist

Our I864 was scanned on July 11 and received a checklist today. But it was about I should send IV package including a police certificate and etc.

We received same two messages.

We have sent IV package already and so this is a false checklist?

We will try to call NVC to check if our AOS was ok but if someone here knows plz let me know. Thank you:)

I think it usually means the AOS package got approved. Call!

I still haven't recieved any email from them. This is so stupid that they send false checklists right away and real checklists takes time from them. Such idiots.

Do any of you guys remember who the VJ member was that was always talking about how depressed they were? I'm not sure why I've started worrying about this, but I know we haven't heard anything in awhile and I just don't know if it's because they've moved on or just stopped coming onto the forums. I tried to look back through the threads for the last couple months but there are just so many posts and I don't remember the last one I remember seeing from that member.

Hi all

Haven't posted much this week but I can assure you I have been reading every post. Arm continues to be so painful and am just trying to get through each day.

This is ridiculous. Why are NVC so slow at the moment. Seriously, they are only on July 11th. I think we can kiss goodbye to that Thanksgiving turkey and hope and pray we are there to decorate the tree for Christmas!

Am taking my daughter to see Grease The Musical this afternoon which will be nice.
