Hi everyone, well we just got off the phone with NVC, and they said that our CASE IS COMPLETE!! :wow::dancing:

Apparently, case complete was on 8/25, although we haven't gotten any notification yet. We had given up on calling all the time, so I was shocked that it was actually complete! Maybe last week when I called NVC and yelled and complained to a supervisor about our case, NVC actually did something? Our DS-260 was sent in on June 3, but because they somehow missed receiving it (how do you miss an electronic submission to your website?!). So then it got sent for Supervisor Review on July 22...so I guess that's our official last scan date...it was approved without us having to provide any other info.

Good luck to everybody else going through this craziness...hang in there, mid-2013 USCIS folks...there is light at the end of the tunnel! :thumbs:

Checklist guys. As expected. But shockingly it wasn't for the w2 that I was thinking. They accepted all the sponsor's documents. She said the petetioner didn't check yes or no in a military question. And that we didn't add up the household size correctly. I don't know how is that possible. We marked one for himself, one for adding all others and n/a in married. Now let's wait for the email. I m still surprised though that they accepted the tax returns without w2 from what the operator told me.

It looks like the AOS fee will be increased from $88 to $120 from Sept 12th.

And the IV fee will be from $230 to $325 from Sept 12th.

This must be to pay all of the "overtime and holidays they are working" :rofl::rofl: :rofl:

It's alright Austin. Surprisingly I m not feeling as bummed as I would have because I was so mentally prepared for a checklist. Guess everything happens for a reason. If we had sent in everything I would have been totally shattered. Now let's see when they review the checklist. Hi there! So, I've been to my doctor for a routine exam and I found out that I have a medical condition which would put me on a possible case expedite (I'm not in a life-dead situation, but I need to be followed constantly by a doctor, and this month I lost my job and with that my insurance in Brazil, but I have a good health insurance in the US due to my husband's job). Anyway, we're considering to send the documents to prove that and ask for an expedite, but in case they deny, would that make my case go slower?? Thanks and congrats to all the CCs!! I can't imagine the joy of it!

Folks, about paying the fee difference in reference to December 11/12 interviews, that's only for NON-IMMIGRANT visas. That does not apply to you :no: Please read carefully before freaking out ;)

Sigh. Australia Post tell me that the package of AOS joint sponsor documents sent from USA to us is lost :cry: I don't know what to do.. wait a few more days or parents in law to send again.. Why even have such a service as tracked express courier post? Cranky+++ about this. Oh well. Not much we can do I suppose :(

Bummer about the price raises next month... Although, the IV fee will still be cheaper than when I went through. It used to be $404 <_<

3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.

I'm sorry if my questions sound stupid, but I seem to NOT find the answers anywhere even though I've looked everywhere. In filling out the AOS packet, on question #1 of part 2, the "last name" of the immigrant, do I put her new last name, meaning mine? They do not specify if maiden or not. Also, besides sending transcripts from IRS, and my paystubs showing proof of income, what are the other documents I need to send? I'm thinking of proof of my 401K as well. But what other documents do I need to gather together with the I-864EZ? Is this when I send proof of employment? or is it at another time? I need major help Please people! Also, someone here told me to make sure to put my address in question 9 of Part 3 because even though it says (if different from mailing address), they may still mark it "with a checkmark" and cause delay. And lastly, if some questions do not need an answer, for example, my wife doesn't have a middle name, do we just leave blank, or write "n/a", or "none" Thanks for all the answers ahead of time, and sorry if I seem too innocent about all this, but I don't wanna get it wrong since it causes so many delays. :content:

I have seen the "sample of I-864EZ", and still none of my questions are answered in there. :oops:

Please, tell me about the supervisor. Does he consider cases in less than 60 days? Or does he review cases at a certain stage of the process? We have the e-mail of 19 June "Please send everything else to nvcinquiry@state.gov (type "ATTN: PI Supervisor" in the subject line of the email). What does it mean? Or all applicants have similar e-mail?

You need to request it yourself if your case drags longer than the others.

Last night I realized I didn't print out the DS-260 confirmation page so I hunted for it and only saw the DS-261 I called NVC and the lady weird name said to go to payment page (which I had) and it would be there. I told her the only one I see was DS-261 but she insisted. I went back and nothing so I decided to click on the IV and went from one page to the next until I got to the end and sure enough you can print it out or send via e-mail. So I sent one to my husband and one to myself and it arrived promptly which doesn't usually happen. Just now I open my e-mail and there is another one but looks totally different than the one they sent me last night. Looks like the one below what do you think? Just a duplicate? The face of the one I requested they send me only had a few words in the body this one had all the below. :D
