It looks like the AOS fee will be increased from $88 to $120 from Sept 12th.

I just saw that! Hopefully I will be able to pay before Sept 12 and HOPEFULLY our interview will be before Dec 11. Otherwise it looks like it's going up to friggin' $325! That's a huge jump, especially since it's taking soooooooooo long!!!!!

I love it when I VJer comes to the rescue and makes me feel better! I of course am now on hold with NVC just to be sure, to be sure, to be sure! But I appreciate you sharing!

Checklist guys. As expected. But shockingly it wasn't for the w2 that I was thinking. They accepted all the sponsor's documents. She said the petetioner didn't check yes or no in a military question. And that we didn't add up the household size correctly. I don't know how is that possible. We marked one for himself, one for adding all others and n/a in married. Now let's wait for the email. I m still surprised though that they accepted the tax returns without w2 from what the operator told me.

That's strange that they didn't give you a checklist on the W-2, but they gave you a checklist for a different issue.

You may want to include your W-2 form when you send your checklist document so you won't get a checklist for the second time.

I hope you can correct your documents quickly and send the corrected forms to NVC soon.

It's alright Austin. Surprisingly I m not feeling as bummed as I would have because I was so mentally prepared for a checklist. Guess everything happens for a reason. If we had sent in everything I would have been totally shattered. Now let's see when they review the checklist. Please u, eoc, soloenta hang around with me while I m dangling with this checklist

Well I just talked to one more rep (#4 now) who told me that ATTN: DR is the correct address and that it means "Document Review." We all know we get a different story from different reps, but that makes me feel a bit better.

Yes, we paid the AOS and IV fees before the increase.

But... I wouldn't call myself lucky considering how long we've been at the NVC stage.

I wouldn't even pay a dime for their immigration "service" if I had a choice.

It's worded all weirdly and I'm half asleep. Is it just non-immigrants who paid before September 12th who have to pay the difference after 90 days? I hope so, it's hardly our fault USCIS destroyed NVC.
