This is just my tiny bit. I don't think they will lose your package because you used the AOS cover sheet. If they are going to lose it they will due to negligence, which could happen with the IV cover sheet anyway. We all know about how efficient they are. So just follow your heart on this. Sending your original certs to them is a risk anyway you look at it.

If almost all the operators and even supervisors are suggesting this then I m sure they know what they are talking about and I think people should follow their heart and do what they wanna do and just pray for the best!

Hi I know this was asked several times before but I'm still confused..

I received an email from nvc stating that I meet the minimum requirements for the interview but I also got a checklist for my joint sponsors I 864..it states that my joint sponsor needs to send 2013 tax info and his total income must match the total income on 1040..

My joint sponsor files his taxes jointly with his spouse..but his income alone meets the minimum cut off..

So I did not use the I 864a..will that be a prob?

Also my joint sponsor sent 2013 tax returns and mentioned the correct income as mentioned on the tax return..but stillgot a cchecklist and this same checklist for the second time..

What could have gone wrong?

No u don't have to send 1-864a if u don't want to. Ur sponsor can send w2 to show his individual income. Did u send w2 with the package?

Has anyone sent their IV documents to NVC using AOS coversheet before IV fee was invoiced? Looking at their current timings, I don't think it will be a bad idea to send IV documents in advance. I was wondering if someone who has done this and their IV documents were scanned at NVC without paying IV fee.

Does NVC also takes at least 60 days to review DS 260 (IV application)?

After much deliberation, I made the decision today to send both the AOS and IV packets together. If you decide to send your IV packet before the fee is invoiced, at least we will be in it together :idea:

dont worry. i got the same as yours from malaysia. .nothing wrong in it. i had to collect four police report from four different countries and they all were different from each other .

thanks azim, thats a relieve. i was kinda worried they might reject it ...

Same here... My IV was scanned on July 10th, but no good news yet... I was hoping to get a good news this week...

If not today it will be tomorrow. At this point I have 12 days left until I reach 60 days so I am not going to lose my mind over this. Going to call on a daily basis and tomorrow I will ask for a supervisor to see what is going on.

I just feel like crying right now!!! Rep told me to wait ATLEAST 60 DAYS for us to review AOS package. ATLEAST?????? and at the end I was told, " Have a good day" :cry::cry:.....I can't believe, this NVC is a nightmare for me. God forbirds If get a checklist on AOS, my interview will perhaps be in Feb or March. This is killing me......And yes to let you all know, I confirmed from 2 rep, they are still reviewing AOS package and IV package separately. So review does not start after the last scan date.

We must have gotten the same rep. Felt like a punch in the stomach huh? Our time will come. Just praying it will come sooner.

In tears don't know how to stop crying. Someone called me and told me that my husband look like he barely weight a 100 pound - yet he is over 6 foot. He has lost so much weight, he look anorexic. He eats peanut butter and bread for breakfast and dinner, he stay in a room all day and barely go out. He goes to school but for the past two weeks, school took a break!!!! So he stays in a room all day all by himself.
