I can't believe it's the end of the month already :cry: and we are still right where we were In June :(

Did the operator mention anything about 60 days as the time it takes to review stuff?

Do you still think docs are being reviewed earlier or are they getting worse...it's hard to gauge their progress...

A bit of both, but the adjustment stuff would be a lot easier if we stopped having issues with the government. We finally made some progress though, things are getting better :) Took 2 months to push through an application for a social security number and we still don't have the green card because his information was entered incorrectly at POE. Our saga is ongoing. I know you haven't had luck in the process so far but I'm going to pass all my good vibes to you in the hope that life is perfect and everything goes smoothly when you're reunited!

I m happy to hear that things are better for u now :) yes the only lucky thing that happened to me was I got the IV invoice earlier and I m actually thankful for that otherwise people with my ds261 date we pushed to August for their invoice. So I hope that some of the luck works with both packages as well. Thankyou for ur wishes :luv:(L)(F)

I think worst. Because it's not even 30 biz days anymore. It's close to 50 calendar days already.

It seems as if NVC slept all thru this month.

Agreed. I just wished they atleast keep their 30 biz days mark!

I just filled out ds-260 form online. I have a question.

By mistake i put answer YES in question Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S. with you?

This is my first marriage. So i put No in previous spouse question.

Does it make any issue or problem in processing ?

Please help. I am really scared.

Hi Everybody sorry if I ask a question that is probably been explained in many threads. I see many people say they call NVC to get a case number. How does that help speed up the process? and what do I need to do exactly once I obtain the case number? Thank you in advance

Just got off the phone with Supervisor Octavio. He has pulled my file and reviewed my information and everything is in order and

:dance::dance:CASE COMPLETE!!!!!! :dance::dance:

Last document scanned 20th June (yes June!) and it was reviewed and filed without the reviewer sending either a checklist or completing the case.

But, now thankfully Octavio has completed our case and we are now waiting for our interview.

Thank you everyone for your support, and for listening to me complain for the past few months. Love you all!!! (L)(L)(L)

There are quite a few people. We sent our papers in late Feb 2013 and have NOA1 of March 4, 2013. Unfortunately, we got an RFE despite having a lawyer 11 months after our NOA1. After replying to RFE, got approval after 1 year, then stuck four months at USCIS after approval. After finally getting to NVC, done with NVC steps in a month and a week and now awaiting case completion; it's been 13 business days or 19 calendar days so far since last scan date.

AOS package approved, no,checklists. (False checklist email sent)

Scan date July 8.

A big deal for me there were no checklists, as I am self-employed, and sent a 2013 return, not transcript.

It's a small victory! :)

12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."

What do you mean by two months! I sent my IV package 3 weeks before receiving my IV bill and DS 260 - I am so hoping THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE TWO MONTH FOR ME.

I was referring to the NVC quote of 60 days to review anything.

I am pretty sure on one of the last screens of filling out the DS-260, it says once you submit the DS-260, you can't go back and make changes. If you need help you need to call the NVC. That's not an exact quote, but what it said more or less.
