The Form I-864 we received was missing the following page

Please ensure you include all nine pages when you

resubmit the form.

[x]

You must submit the following financial evidence:

[x] A written statement indicating why you did not file ________2013_______________ Federal income tax returns.

[x] ___2013_____________________ Federal income tax returns, IRS printout, or Letter 1722 issued by the IRS.

You need to either submit a written statement saying you were not required to file a 2013 tax return because of whatever legal reason OR you need to submit a 2013 tax transcript that you can view and print online at the IRS website

NVC has reviewed the financial evidence submitted. However, additional information is

required to complete the financial evidence review. Please provide all requested documents and

refer to page two for mailing instructions.

General Instructions

[x] You will need to complete and submit the new form completely filled out (all pages required), which includes

the changes noted below. Submitting single pages of the form with the correction is not acceptable. In order

to make corrections you will need to download a new form at www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov.

Part 1 Information on the Household Member

[x] This section is incomplete. Please answer all questions completely. (If N/A, please indicated in the

appropriate space).

You need to fill in this section totally, including writing N/A in blank spaces that don't apply

[x] _______'s income indicated on line 11 of the I-864A does not correspond to

that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2(s).

Exactly what it says above, the income needs to match what the tax return says

Part 2 Sponsor's Promise

[x] On line 13, the (sponsor/joint sponsor) has not correctly entered his/her own name in the blank, "I,

the sponsor ___________________ in consideration…".

You/the joint sponsor (if there is one) didn't write their name on the signature page, or wrote it incorrectly/illegibly

[x] The (sponsor/joint sponsor) has not signed and/or dated his/her name on the appropriate line

You/the joint sponsor (if there is one) need to sign the form otherwise it's not legally binding

Please see my answers in red above

The corrections they're requesting are quite straight-forward, is there a reason you are having difficulty providing the information?

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Well I called this morning to see if anything had been approved... On Friday the rep volunteered to have my DS-261 passed to a supevisor because she said it should have been reviewed already. Today I spoke with Kevin (who I USED to like) and he said he saw that the supervisor request had been put in, but that since it was still within the 60 day timeframe, the supervisor would look at it but probably not so anything with it.

Great. That sounds like such a huge waste of resources I can't stand it. Why in the world would you have someone look at something that would take moments to review and approve and just not do it. Wait another 20 days. Great.

These people are crazy... But I guess we already knew that.

They should just put answering machines on, cause all these "customer service representatives" can do is just repeat 'It can take up to 60 days' like they're parrots... Ask them anything and it's always the same answer anyways. That or 'it's currently being reviewed'. Should've counted just how many times that rep said 'It can take up to 60 days' in the 2 mins she talked to us. Probably 5+ times. What a waste of time and money (calling from abroad).

IR1 took 520 days....

That's freaky! :wow: Do you have a lawyer? If so, did your lawyer fill out the DS-260? :huh2:

I was wondering if your lawyer really submitted the DS-260 about 80 days ago (if your lawyer was the one who filled it out).

If you filled out the DS-260 by yourself and you have a confirmation page (and your http://ceac.state.gov/ shows "COMPLETED"), you'll probably have to wait a little bit. :clock:

I believe it's taking about 3-5 calender weeks for NVC to review the DS-260 form now. :star:

I was just on the phone with a rep about the letter they sent of updating my husbands address. She said a request was put in and I said I didn't put in a request, to which she said well we got one and updated it. She read me the address and it was the same one as the original one we had!! She said she can't give me details about who submitted it and how it happens. Are you kidding me????????!!!

Also, she said they are putting packages together and now they have started reviewing them from the last package date. She said even though I sent in the IV package on 7/21, they will review it with my other package which was sent August 15th(my checklist for AOS)!

Are you seriously kidding me????

I said how is this fair and how come we were not notified of this? She said we just changed the policy and she would not shut up about the 60 days and kept saying is there anything else??

She was so rude! I asked to speak with a supervisor, she put me on hold and said they are not available and she'll put in a request for them to call me back.

Is NVC serious about putting the packages together and reviewing them within the timeframe of the later scanned one!what if I a get checklist for my IV? That means I'll wait extra days for it to be reviewed and then have more time waiting here?

They are just so annoying. They know nothing more than just repeating their usual 60days quote over and over again.

I tried and tried but haven't found the answer anywhere (and maybe Saylin can add it to the wiki): what is the scan date? It seems to be the date a few days after receipt of mailed documents that they officially put in their records that they have received it. Is that it? And I'm assuming it's important because it's the moment from which the countdown begins?
