I received a letter in the mail from NVC, stating the mailing/emailing address on the case was changed due to a request. What request? I didn't send in any? The letter was dated for August 11th, I didn't even call them that day. I don't know what to do :cry:

Is this bad? I hope not! I don't want something to mess up again! :cry:

I received one but I did put in a request, look at the bottom see what address it is they changed it to if it's the same as you have now no big deal but either way I would call on Monday and let them know you didn't request an address change. If anyone sees fault in this please feel free to correct me.

They didn't say what it was updated to, the letter doesn't explain anything. Only says that line and has our case information.

I'm thinking it's a glitch mine has the new address at the left bottom of the letter and it's correct. But still call ask what address they have down for you. Good luck please keep us informed.

I know someone told me how to do it, I did. Now, I am trying to do the exact same thing and I cant seem to go back and fix it!!!

You can highlight everything you put in then hit enter and it will remove it. When I did it manually after each time I finished I hit enter to take me to the next line did you do that?

Wait I see your Timeline and it looks perfect to me. I don't see what you need to change to be honest. Wondering if it's the other persons browser I'm using FireFox.

Yes it's really weird. The letter has my name and address on it, but it's addressed to my husband. They have "dear (his name)" and then it says your request for an update has been made. Even if they were to send it in response to the DS-261, that was approved way earlier than August 11th...but we got the email response for it.

That's why I've been so confused. Anywho, hopefully they can clarify it on Monday and fingers crossed that it isn't due to some mishap.

Silly question probably. Can I use the same pictures for my DS-260 that I used for the G-325A form for the i-130 petition? They are valid to 31 December 2014 as per Australia Post regulations. Or should I get new ones taken? I look the same, they were taken not so long ago, about 2 months ago I guess.

If they are only a couple of months old then they are "new". Besides, you get a chance to submit new ones during the interview and at POE if you wish. Wait until then just in case you get delayed at NVC.

Only taken within a month, so you can't use those. So go get a hair cut, put some gel and say cheese. I sure you will look different then old pic.

Maybe it's just the Egyptian Embassy but I have asked and they keep saying NEW so I get new ones. They don't seem to care much if it's two months or six. But thank you for the correction. .

Hahahaha that was funny Sunshine . So sorry, MoBar said you can use them so I'm wrong. As stated in the past Egyptian Embassy has e-mailed me with the response to my question and they are very special I should have known. I have a friend that just e-mailed me with a problem she has with this Embassy if she allows me I'll post it for everyone to see how special the Egyptian Embassy is compared to others. Which is why I'm so nervous. Sorry Sharksblow for the mistake I wont try to help, I think it's best, my brain still hasn't recovered from USCIS.
