Hi everyone

Firstly congratulations to everybody with Case Completes this week.

Right now I am so sad for my VJ friend Amanda. This process just isn't fair on any of us. She just doesn't deserve this.

Also, how come mobar65 doesn't have his interview date yet?

I feel that each week I say the same thing - let's hope for a good week next week.

NVC are SO slow at reviewing these packages.

We were going to apply to expedite based on my arm and inability to do anything but we have decided not to. Still waiting for Certificates to come in mail so I can send them to NVC. Should be early next week. I am hoping and praying at this point that we can be together by Christmas.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Love

Xx

Has anyone else had this issue: I was starting to fill out the DS-260 about an hour ago. I clicked save and signed out. I just went to go log back in and now my IV fee says "IN PROCESS" again and the DS-260 says "INCOMPLETE" and I can't click on it...

Me and couple of people here had same experience last month. But I had already filled and completed my DS-260. My IV changed from PAID to IN PROCESS, my hubby called and it was rectified after 2working days. I guess it was a glitch in their system. You should call on Monday and have them look into it.

Just got off the phone with NVC. Spoke to Tessa who told me all of my mail has been reviewed and they are STILL waiting on my checklist!!!! I explained that I have been told they have received everything and all I had to do was wait. She said they have reviewed 3 pieces of mail. The only things I have sent are AOS, IV and AOS checklist. So I said, if all 3 pieces of mail have been reviewed, then what is the outcome. She said she could not see what the mail was, but did I perhaps send my IV docs twice???!! UMMMM NOO!!!!! :ranting: Or perhaps the reviewer made some kind of error, she can't see on her screen the outcome of the review or what doc it was??!!!

She said she would log a supervisor review and that would take 30 business days. UMMMM NOOOO!!!!!! I am at day 67 of my AOS checklist review I cannot wait another 30 business days for you to tell me if you have lost the document or not!!!

This is wrong, this is wrong, this is soooooo wrong!!!!!

I asked for a supervisor, she said nobody was available. I started crying, she put me on hold. She then was magically able to transfer me to Octavio who could also not explain what is going on until he pulls my file which he can not physically do until next week.

I am beyond devastated right now. Every time I have called they have assured me they have everything and I just have to be patient. What the heck?????/ :ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting:

Please do not take offense if I am not around on here for awhile, I can't take this anymore and need a break. Love to you all, I hope none of you experience what I have.

This is just so wrong :( I really feel sad. I'll suggest you call them next week and keep requesting for a supervisor until something is done. Am so sorry that you are going thru this. You are in my prayers.

guys why this message pooped up when i login for fee payment ? btw i did not fill up my ds-261. is it ithe reason ? or something else>>>This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.

sorry that message pooped up on you like that ! ;)

You should read Saylin's wiki. The link is right here. There is a ton of useful information. Here is what it says about your message:

"

  • Note: if you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-261 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced. " - Yoda

Thank you my dear lady for the kind words. I hope NVC won't steal Christmas from all our kids this year. It would be my kids' first real Christmas if we could make it to the US in time. Still, my distress doesn't hold a candle next to Amanda's. NVC being slow is one thing... them making stupid mistakes and charging her weeks and weeks of waiting time is just unforgivable.

Good catch... "up" is the wrong word to use. Reminds me of someone innocently explaining the difference between b's and p's: bee up and pee down!

Guys how many days it take Aos to change into NA from case complete ??

Instantly for most. some days for others. Mine took 3 weeks!

I have a theory that this AOS change is effected only if/when NVC has approval to schedule an interview from the respective consulate. I have little data to test it though, and would be debunked anyway if I don't get scheduled next week.
