Have you gotten your interview date yet? This other Pakistani case I follow, they got a complete today and got an interview case scheduled for sept 29th.

I was wondering if it usually takes that long for an interview.

Wow that's pretty quick. I thought they are done with September.

Agent Red just confirmed I have CASE COMPLETE!!! Woohoo. Thanks everyone for the support and advice. Apologies to the newer folks who didn't get the same level of support from me as I dipped away from the forums for a few weeks. Best of luck to all of you, especially those with NOA1 dates from Summer 2013.

Mumbai consulate put case under AP for 1 month.

Consulate sent my case back to nvc. 11/2014
Uscis received case back from NVC for further review. 12/2014

Since then no update. status says they are reviewing the case and will contact us when review is done.

Thanks for the heads up! I definietly will send the email, although my guess is we will get a checklist for it anyway!

So listen to this! I called this AM on the way to work and spoke with Briell (sp?) and asked if my AOS or DS-261 had been reviewed (I am at 35 calendar days from the DS-261 and 25 business days). She said I have to allow up to 60 days for the AOS but then she said "But your DS-261 should have been reviewed by now so I'm going to go ahead and pass this onto a supervisor. They should review it and then release the IV fee."

Say wha'?!?! She OFFERED to pass it to a supervisor and it hasn't even been 30 business days yet! Well I'm not complaining, and I'm not holding my breath either. But maybe, just maybe it'll help!

That´s great! The call center workers seem to be in a good mood this morning... maybe somebody brought donuts :P

April 16 file received at NVC

May 13 case number and IIN assigned

May 19 DS261 available and filled online

May 20 AOS invoiced

May 21 AOS paid

It will still be no. Your spouse is a US citizen, they don't "immigrate" or get a special visa to live there.. They simply just move back. ;) Plus the other answer would be no as well.. Because in the DS260 or the I-130, one of those.. the requirements is your spouse has to be back in the states before or the same day the immigrant arrives to the US.

Congratulations to all CCs!

Called NVC for the heck of it yesterday and they told me that I should expect a CC or a checklist in mid-September. So 2,5 months from when they received our package. And she was so cheery telling me this too...left me feeling not so cheery though ha.

IR1 took 520 days....
