Maybe the poster was referring to the "60 day" email which does mention a document receipt date (though that date itself seems to fall somewhere between the delivery and scan dates).

Maybe you're right... but I though that nasty 60-day email wave was over with that same week.

My case is at NVC but my heart is already at the interview stage. :)

I can't think of another email from NVC that would mention a document receipt date.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Nvc doesn't review documents till midnight right? Does anyone know when the supervisor shifts end? I wanna call at the time when there is least chance of being disappointed lol

Another week, another problem with NVC. I spoke to Dale this morning who was quite pleasant and helpful. Turns out my June 25 scanned IV packet was reviewed on Aug 11, although when I called on Aug 14 they told me it hadn´t been reviewed yet. When I received a checklist for that packet on Aug 7 Supervisor Sue and the call center workers swore up and down that the checklist was sent in error and I should ignore it because the packet hadn´t been reviewed yet. Well, now the packed is reviewed, but not approved, and has the supposedly erroneous checklist associated to it. The checklist said that I did not send the original birth and marriage certificates, but I did, they just aren´t very fancy or official looking. Dale sent my case to supervisor review, so I´ll have to call back next week to see what happens. Only time will tell :clock:

Molly and Juan, if you see this, I would definitely recommend sending in the embassy email with your documents.

Thanks for the heads up! I definietly will send the email, although my guess is we will get a checklist for it anyway!

So listen to this! I called this AM on the way to work and spoke with Briell (sp?) and asked if my AOS or DS-261 had been reviewed (I am at 35 calendar days from the DS-261 and 25 business days). She said I have to allow up to 60 days for the AOS but then she said "But your DS-261 should have been reviewed by now so I'm going to go ahead and pass this onto a supervisor. They should review it and then release the IV fee."

Say wha'?!?! She OFFERED to pass it to a supervisor and it hasn't even been 30 business days yet! Well I'm not complaining, and I'm not holding my breath either. But maybe, just maybe it'll help!
