OP is trying to prove he still has domicile in the states, where as you live in the States, and you are current at that resident address the CO at interview wouldn't bother really giving much thought into the letter.

Well, what can I say I'm an idiot, I thought I had read others in their same situation living with family and when I was living with my husband that was what I was going to use for proof of domicile since how many people can keep a home running and paid for, for two years unless you won the lotto. I should just keep quiet hahahaa, ty I appreciate it. :)

You can use that as part of proof of domicile, but the way you worded it was that you just used it in your AOS package that you sent off just over a month ago.

I just called the NVC

This is so weird.. my AOS has been reviewed and accepted. my IV has been reviewed and accepted... my DS 260 has not been reviewed and they have a request to review it in there.. I received a checklist asking me to submit it, however its been marked as completed since June 10th roughly... this is frustrating....

You've just posted this question in the interview thread and I answered there. In general, I think the VJ admins prefer you not post the same message on different threads at the same time...

Congratulations on the CC! :)

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Not everyone tells you exactly the whole reasoning they give for expediting too.. Gotta remember that as well ;).

AGREED and there are alot of profiles out there created just to spread lies to people who are really here for help. You can't be so gullible. back in 2008 it was all over the place.

Awesome! Congrats! Are you going to call just to make sure?

Thanks! I will give them a call today.

NVC says they may take upto 60 days to review AOS package. But can somebody tell, how long is it actually taking? and God forbids if someone gets checklist, how long after scan date, they issue checklist and time taken to review checklist?

My AOS was approved yesterday, and it took 34 business days from the scan date.

Congratulations to the CCs from yesterday!

Another week, another problem with NVC. I spoke to Dale this morning who was quite pleasant and helpful. Turns out my June 25 scanned IV packet was reviewed on Aug 11, although when I called on Aug 14 they told me it hadn´t been reviewed yet. When I received a checklist for that packet on Aug 7 Supervisor Sue and the call center workers swore up and down that the checklist was sent in error and I should ignore it because the packet hadn´t been reviewed yet. Well, now the packed is reviewed, but not approved, and has the supposedly erroneous checklist associated to it. The checklist said that I did not send the original birth and marriage certificates, but I did, they just aren´t very fancy or official looking. Dale sent my case to supervisor review, so I´ll have to call back next week to see what happens. Only time will tell :clock:

Molly and Juan, if you see this, I would definitely recommend sending in the embassy email with your documents.
