hey... checked CEAC website.. the AOS changed to N/A from PAID .... am confused ,,, whatz happening???? anyone plz... thanx.

Last scan date was july 9th - but i called NVC yesterday and they told me they are reviewing the files aand would be 60 days.... from the date scanned.

Wohooo congratulations!! Seeing case completes make me happy when were ur last documents scanned? And it will say in transit after ur interview date is assigned if I m not mistaken!

Thank you!!! My scanned date was july 8th so it did took them 30 business days to complete. Hopefully it won't take too long to get our interview?

My case has been at NVC since Dec.

And after getting checklisted in June and sending documents in July 1st.

I got a response....another checklist.

They want a bank statement brokerage account statement? ####### that wasn't even on the previous checklist and it only is for one person not my cosigner either.

Absolute bullshit seems like someone at NVC had a bad day and sent a bullshit checklist.

FYI the amount I put for my bank and brokeag account was INCREDIBLY SMALL and non significant:

Absolute bullshit another 60 days will put me at 1 year at NVC. Are you ****ing kidding me?

OMG and I thought we had it bad, I'm so very sorry it is BS and I have no idea why this is going on. You need to contact your Congress or Senate person immediately and have them fix this. Just unreal, save yourself time go to their website fill out the paperwork to allow them to look into your case. Click immigration I think it's under help you seek not sure then copy, sign and send it right away tomorrow if you can. Good luck please keep us posted.

A job and housing are the two hardest things for us to prove, sadly, because hubby is here with me in Australia so all he can show right now is that he is LOOKING for work back in the States. Tough when it's 6 months til he leaves to go back to the USA (side note: reckon I'll be going with him? I know it's hard to tell with NVC but .. gosh I hope so!), it's very early but he has applied for jobs with both the Vermont and New Hampshire Superior and Supreme Courts.

Housing again is tough because his parents are putting us up, we'll crash at their place for a few nights then move into their other house, the front of which his mum runs her business from but the rest of it will be ours. So there obviously won't be a rental contract or anything since it's family. Would getting an affidavit from his parents to this effect help or should we just state that that is what is happening on our cover letter and say that we can obtain an affidavit if necessary/requested?

We have the visa from Australia that clearly outlines he can't stay more than 12 months. He only renewed his bar membership for Vermont in March, while he was in Australia, so you would think they would see that as a sign he intends to go back otherwise why pay the fees?

My husband and I will be living with my parents, my father wrote a letter that we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted, forever if we wanted and both parents signed it. That is all that is needed, they accepted it no certification nothing. Hope this helps.

Congratulations. I submitted my DS 261 on 8/1 as well hoping to see the IV fee invoice bill soon.

May I ask did you put in an expedite request or NVC just getting back to their normal processing time?

Yes I am, they shipped my file to the embassy today. So, by next week, my hubby should recieve a call about the interview

U tried expediting both at Uscis and Nvc stages? Maybe u should email them again. I have heard people getting approved in 2nd 3rd try. And yes no offense to the OP but their criterias are BS and they don't follow their own rules. I saw soo many people getting rejected for pregnancy expedites. They are unfair mean and unorganized really.

Yes so far twice they sent it along to the Embassy and we were rejected twice. I'm not sure I have the heart to do it again. I know they will just reject us again and maybe if they weren't going to put us in AP they would if they gave us an expedite. Can you tell I'm getting really paranoid? Hahahaaa poor me. hahaaaa

I can imagine ur pain I really really hope and pray that u don't get put into AP. Does everybody from Egypt go thru it? 1.5 years was a terrible time already really

Looks like our AOS is being reviewed. I think that's what the operator said that AOS is being reviewed and allow us 60 days for the reponse. Hopefully Tomm we will hear something! Let's see.

So I am resending in a new affadavit of support without supplemental income (as I never intended to have that added).

Do I need to resend in my tax return with it?

By now they have two copies of my tax return as well as two copies of my tax return from my intial documents and the first checklist.

Is the wait time still 60 days or is it longer for those that send now?
