I AM SO SORRY, I MEAN THE IV PACKAGE IS ALWAYS REVIEWED WITH THE VISA APPLICATION!!!

Thats interesting because when I spoke to a supervisor, they said that the IV package and the Visa application could be reviewed separately.. this was on the phone 2 days ago...

Hi all

Not much noise from me this week as I am finding it slow to type one handed. Am reading everything though.

Mobar65 - what is going on? Everyday I am waiting for your interview data as I am sure you are. Perhaps that N/A means something. Look forward to hearing tomorrow.

Amanda - really? Nothing yet. Have you called again? Good news about job.

Bdrew - looks like you guys are finally going home. Fantastic.

Arm is horrible. Have had a bad experience this week with one doctor. They cast it up and, can you believe it, I could slip the cast off. Went to see a Private doctor this afternoon and I am all fixed up. Now have a purple waterproof cast which has to stay on for seven weeks.

Mmmm, wondering if it is worth trying to expedite for medical reasons as I am not really able to care for kids very well. They are great, however, and we are all getting through. Problem is my check listed Certificates will be here this week and I can then send to NVC. Probably better to just send them - better the devil you know. This should give me a November or December interview and we will all be back together for Christmas.

I am done - finger worn out.

Love to everyone.

Can you imagine yourself shutting up shop, packing and heaving boxes and suitcases single-handedly (literally)? Take your time, I say, and guard against sudden bending down/straightening until you root out the cause of that blackout.

I do feel for your husband who couldn't be with you in this trying time.

Regarding my case, I feel like I'm in pre-AP, which would be followed by warm-up AP, to be concluded by a post-interview AP cool-down. Click on this link for a good laugh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNf606dfCb0

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. No change to AOS fee yet. Haven't called since Friday USA time on day 60. I was told a supervisor wasn't available and my case "definitely" would be reviewed this week.

I tried calling Tuesday and gave up when I couldn't get through for 20 minutes. Last night I was too tired to call. I will wait until Friday USA time to call again, then I will be at 67 days and hopefully then someone will let me speak to a supervisor if I don't have a case complete by then.

My job has been a god-send. Amazing what keeping busy during the day can do to forget about it for awhile.

Sorry to hear your arm has been so painful!

I will keep everyone posted if anything changes with me, but for right now I am just numb about it all and have no emotion. I just feel like there is nothing I can do. I even sent off letters to a congressman and a senator last week by email. Haven't even gotten an automated reply. Ever feel like you are completely invisible? That is me in this process right now. As I see case completes with scan dates 2 weeks LATER than mine, I cringe. I am happy for everyone of course, but it is just another reminder of how my file has been screwed yet again.

This week was my 14-month immiversary (and also marked 12 years that I have been living in Australia.) I have loved Australia my second home and even became a dual-citizen, but now it's time for me to go home.

Thank you for your kind support. The good news is everything is good, it was just a matter of jumping too quickly out of bed.

I am sorry that you have to go onto AP. Why is that? Is it because of the country you live in. I thought that people who had only been married for less than 2 years got AP or am I thinking about something else?

This whole process is an absolute farce. I think that you have done the best thing to take a step back otherwise it is so easy to be obsessed - which we are anyway.

As soon as I can type properly I will email you but I am just doing the absolute minimum at the moment.

Hang in there.

You're most welcome my dear lady.

AP is Administrative Processing... the kind that takes weeks and months to resolve. I'm not on AP this time (yet, at least I don't think so), though I went through it twice years ago. It was just a clumsy crack at humor that relates to the linked video.

I just want to extend my empathy.

I feel the same as you.

It sounds like you are also in your spouse's country (as I am) but tired. Just freaking tired. I have an empty home in the US that's costing cash, and I miss America. This is hurting my business growth, health, and sanity.

My congressman's office told me it can take up to 30 days to get a response (!) from USCIS(!) and i politely pointed out the issue now is with nvc. They ignored me.

:(

I, too, feel invisible. And life is completely 100% on hold. I was prepared to deal with a year for this pricess. Loom at you! My God, more than a year now. I am so very sorry your case is still incomplete. :(

Yet another friend of mine I met today and said why is it taking so long for u one of my friend went in 6 months. I said it must be a fiancé visa so she said yes they were married but didn't declare their marriage. I wanted to break something. Why is this process so freaking unfair!! I m so so angry right now. Only illegally can people go so quickly and they are happy. We are paying the price for following rules. I wish I wish I hadn't been so stuck up on this visa and had went on tourist or fiancé visa.

Just putting together "my" AOS package while we wait for parents-in-law to post us their stuff so we can send it back to the USA.. what a convoluted process! Anyway, just a quick question about re-establishing domicile for my husband. We have the following items for proof:

1. New Hampshire drivers licence, well and truly within date

2. Vermont Judiciary confirmation of continuing membership (Vermont Bar Membership Card) - also well within date, recently updated

3. Online statement printouts from retirement funds both based in USA

4. Copy of his Australian visa including conditions (ie it is for 12 months only)

Do you think we should get other things, such as contacting the County Clerk for voter registration proof or anything like that as well or will be we be okay with the above documents? Understand only general advice not legal advice can be given, thanks in advance :)

I'm not sure how hard Australia is for domicile (it's the one thing Canada is a stickler on). But one of the more important things when it comes to showing domicile is a job and housing.

Hi all,

I am a new Aug NVC filer.

I technically sent the AOS package (Sponsor and JS) in July, but got a Checklist (asking 2013 tax info that my bro in law forgot to send).
Everything will be sent this week:

- I already sent the IV civil docs

- my in-law will sent the 2013 data from the US beginning of next week

Next steps: validation and embassy appointment
