Thanks for commenting .. Not in the system means they haven't assign case number to it , I call them 2-3 times a week and every time they give me the same answer ( we received your case from USCIS on Jun 20th but it is not in the system yet. even it passed due ( 30 business days but still they haven't assign number to it) I don't know what to do do I contacted the congress man but his office said it will take up to a month to get respond from NV. So frustrated

Well, it's now past 60 days too. Way outside of others' timelines here. Have you asked to speak to a supervisor?

OK... something very odd happened with me at CEAC just now. My AOS fee changed to N/A. But I had CC since July 30th (confirmed multiple times) !!!!

I am waiting for an interview date since then. Dare I think I finally got a date scheduled? Oh well... too late to call at this hour.

I'm praying you have your date my friend, it would be well deserved. So excited to find out.

I was talking to one of the Rep just 1hr a go and at first she told me that she saw my case number on the board, and they are looking for it, looks like they misplaced it . I asked her if I can talk t a supervisor she told me all of them in a meeting then I asked her about the I-129F which been hanging there for 2 months now under administrative processing , she tool a look at it and told me this one is frozen because I-130 sent back to immigration for missing stamp or signature. I really got lost and have no idea what is going on.

I AM SO SORRY, I MEAN THE IV PACKAGE IS ALWAYS REVIEWED WITH THE VISA APPLICATION!!!

Really not sure what point you're trying to make here. Mail is reviewed in the order that it is received (give or take) so they won't pull out your IV package when you submit your DS-260.... if that's what you're referring to as the "Visa Application."

The other day you suggested sending both AOS and IV packages to NVC before they had even received your case from USCIS. That is definitely not a good idea, and could cause serious delays.

Please be careful, do your fact-checking, study timelines, and take the advice of people that have been through this process once already, and sometimes multiple times. Especially if you're going to post something in huge, bold font. NVC reps and supervisors have been known to lead people astray. It's better to study others' previous experiences.

Hmmm I have heard of things being held up if your case accidentally gets sent back to USCIS. You could try calling USCIS as well, and see if any part of it has been returned to them.

People have a better idea and they will guide u more. Second u mean to say u got approved and then they sent ur file back to Uscis again? When did u file?

OMG.............The Embassy has accepted my case for expedited processing.

Congrats if u don't mind can I ask u on what basis u asked for expedite? And if u haven't send ur packages yet then hold on to them. U might be asked to take to the embassy directly.

Hmmm I have heard of things being held up if your case accidentally gets sent back to USCIS. You could try calling USCIS as well, and see if any part of it has been returned to them.

Agreed... that's the only explanation why they delayed issuing you a case # this long. Issuing case numbers is the only thing that got accelerated at NVC in the past couple of months. They really should have informed you of the situation early on though.

I hope it gets resolved soon and by that time NVC's backlog would be on the mend to even things out for you.

Can I send the IV package before paying the fee?

Lots of people are getting lucky doing that. If you have extra certified copies of the civil documents or can get them easily, I would encourage you to do that.
