Done! Hope I did it right. It was weird to go down to fill in the submission of DS-261 date without filling in the other two boxes above.

I hope my parents-in-law send their documents to us superfast quicktimes rapido! Since maybe we can pay our AOS bill soon :)

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

11/29/2014: POE JFK.

It's too late for you Jeff because you already received your transcripts in the mail, but to everyone else who does not want to wait two months to receive their IRS transcripts, just call them up and ask to have your transcripts faxed to you.

When I originally called, I didn't have a fax number (didn't know that was an options but the agent suggested it), so asked them to mail it. But the same day searched online and found out that you can get a fax number for free 30 day trial, so I signed up, called up IRS again and gave them my fax number. The agent said it will take up to 48 hours to get my transcripts by fax, but they actually came within 2 hours, all 3 years of transcripts. Printed them out and sent in with my AOS and got accepted without any problems.

The ones ordered by mail arrived some weeks later...

there was this option as well! Then we wasted 2 weeks to get transcripts for nothing :( saylin u should add this to ur wiki!

NOA2 finally- 4-23-2014

NVC received- 5-7-2014

I called NVC & rep said there is some corrections need in your AOS. we will send you e-mail in couple of days.... :(

That means we will get checklist. :(

I am May 2013 filers.... I don't know when will get I get visa?

hi, if not for the corrections you would've had your case complete. Try calling again and ask if you could bring the corrections to your interview.

I have gone back to may old job after a 6-month secondment and my workload is crazy right now, so unfortunately I can't check VisaJourney during the day, so I will only be able to catch up in the evenings.

At least it will keep your mind off NVC's foot dragging for a few hours everyday. Hopefully you'll get your CC before the weekend. It seems the whole VJ family is on edge to celebrate it with you.

Yes, the timing of this job could not be better! Winding up my other job, I was bored out of my brain and checking ceac every 10 minutes. Not healthy!

I love being busy right now and keeping my mind off of it. I hope we can all celebrate very soon! Lines open in 3 minutes, I might call…….

Ok, just dialled about 50 times and not connecting, wasn't meant to be. Going to bed now (it's bedtime Down Under)

Just got done catching up on 11 pages with a 2-yr-old on my lap (not an easy feat at all!). Too cute, she giggles and points to all of the emoticons as I scroll through the pages. :rofl:

Nothing has changed with my AOS fee today. Can't face calling, will wait until later in the week if still no change. It's funny that I am getting more calm about it now. It's like the grieving process, I think I have come to "Acceptance". :blink:

Hi, it seems like you are scared to post your progress here? You got the case number and IIN about the same time everyone else is getting now, about two weeks. So far so good.

Thanks. Not scared exactly just wanting to not be obnoxious because I got through the USCIS part really fast so I want to be sensitive to those who have waited longer. There is a strong possibility that we will face a long wait somewhere down the track too. Who knows?!

They're only closed on federal holidays. The next one is September 1 for Labor Day :)

rep said it is not possible...

I think I ll get my interview date in December ....

I've been mashing the call back button on Skype since 7:00 us eastern time non-stop and still can't get through. Just Skype saying the number can't be recognized, yet it's the same one I always call (603 334 0700) and I have it set to US so it includes the 1 in front. I guess it's bad karma or something. It usually only does this 10 - 20 times before I get through but this is unheard of for me. I guess I'll take a break to watch something and try again. My wife is falling asleep watching me mash on the mouse and I may go crazy from the Skype call and hang up sounds on endless loop if I don't take a break lol.

Anyway, good luck today everyone
