Yes, completely agreed. Which is why I've tried to limit my time here. Everyone being sad just makes you sad too!

Thank you for everybody's input regarding the NVC timeline.

I notice a huge discrepancy between the D-261 submission and the IV invoice date.

Does anyone have advice on how I can short this gap?

Thank you,

Will

Hopefully next week scanned date July 7-11 will hear some good news. And for sure Nvc will speed up once they are done with these dates. We filed in Oct 2013 where it got the peak time and Uscis started saying they are back logged. Then some good energies made Uscis to say " give us some time we will make it to 5 months target". After we got approved in April 2014 suddenly they said wait for 1month for a case number . When we send our packages in June 2014, something happened ( like a Tsunami) nvc was filled with more and more docs and said " 30 business days". Ok I thought we will wait for 30 business days... And suddenly an email ohhhhhhh. " takes 60 days..."!!!!!!!!! Now what?????? Everytime I wake up I think about Nvc. Think about how life turns. Nature is playing a game. I am not saying I'm unlucky but why these struggles to get just a visa. Sigh. I met one of my teachers and she said her daughter waited for 4 years to go to UK (spouse visa) because there was a delay getting a PR for her husband...I will now try to convince myself....

correctly stated and same time line as mine.

10/4/13 - I-130 filed

4/17/14 - USCIS shipped case to NVC

10/29 - CC

11/15 - Medical

12/11 - Interview

Go back in time and hire a lawyer. Then the DS-261 will be skipped and the IV bill will be invoiced around the same time as the AOS bill.

Other than that, there's no shortcuts and you have to wait your turn.

Did you call? They requested documents from me that I had sent so I called and it was a false checklist. You really need to call if you haven't. :) I'll be praying it's a false one.

We did call and we were told to wait for another review the supervisor wasn't helpful she admitted that they system is messed up but she couldn't do anything about it . Will be seeking a lawyers help now . Thank you and best of luck to you :)

Let us do a mass prayer.

Oh God, let NVC process all the genuine cases as fast as possible.

Oh God, remove all the hurdles that are blocking the speedy process.

Oh God, make NVC fill all the gaps that are on the way to a speedy process

Oh God, nullify all the difficiencies that are in every case.

I agree (Amen)
