Thanks! I did try calling them and like I said no case received yet. Just hoping to get a case number soon so I can get my AOS documents ready. And the reason it was approved in 23 days was because I requested an expedite based on humanitarian conditions. Wish I could do that for NVC :(

You can expedite at NVC as well.

Hopefully next week scanned date July 7-11 will hear some good news. And for sure Nvc will speed up once they are done with these dates. We filed in Oct 2013 where it got the peak time and Uscis started saying they are back logged. Then some good energies made Uscis to say " give us some time we will make it to 5 months target". After we got approved in April 2014 suddenly they said wait for 1month for a case number . When we send our packages in June 2014, something happened ( like a Tsunami) nvc was filled with more and more docs and said " 30 business days". Ok I thought we will wait for 30 business days... And suddenly an email ohhhhhhh. " takes 60 days..."!!!!!!!!! Now what?????? Everytime I wake up I think about Nvc. Think about how life turns. Nature is playing a game. I am not saying I'm unlucky but why these struggles to get just a visa. Sigh. I met one of my teachers and she said her daughter waited for 4 years to go to UK (spouse visa) because there was a delay getting a PR for her husband...I will now try to convince myself....

Thats not true. There have been people who have been successful at getting members of congress to help push their case along. It depends on the congress person. I have been in contact with this office previously regarding public policy issues. I voted for the senator so i will do all i can to get help with my case. Dont get a attitude with what im doing with my own case. Il do whatever to get my husband here.

Gotta love NVC reps! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Did the rep also tell you that they were drinking 10 cups of coffee every day to work overtime to review your documents?

No she did not tell me that but a rep told Amanda they're working 12-hour shifts 7 days a week... and in the end admitted she was lying and hung up.

17 MONTHS!? :wow: That is a crime! :ranting:

That means it'll be 18-19 months by the time you have an interview (assuming you don't get AP)!?

I really hope you don't get AP. Fingers crossed! :star:

I am at 18 months and still not done with NVC. I think Amanda is the one with the longest wait, 20 months.

Well Said Lucky79 .. I filed in Sept 2013 .. worst period time period to submit a petition period for a VISA period .. BIG TIME

USCIS: jump from 5 months to 11 months average time to finish a file

NVC: jump from 20 business days to 60 days

I wish the Egyptian embassy is not following the same slow pace

Hummmmmmmmmm off I just signed into both "Sign in page and Receipt page" they used to look different but now they both look exactly the same. Anyone else notice this? God forbid they try to fix anything and as usual wind up really messing it up. t2615.gif

Hey .. Soloentaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Congrats on the AOS acceptance .. just saw it now

we are both waiting for the 21/22 july scanned date to get the big CC

Good luck to both of us

P.S. Any idea what scanned date they are at now?

Well Said Lucky79 .. I filed in Sept 2013 .. worst period time period to submit a petition period for a VISA period .. BIG TIME

USCIS: jump from 5 months to 11 months average time to finish a file

NVC: jump from 20 business days to 60 days

I wish the Egyptian embassy is not following the same slow pace

Hey .. Soloentaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Congrats on the AOS acceptance .. just saw it now

we are both waiting for the 21/22 july scanned date to get the big CC

Good luck to both of us

P.S. Any idea what scanned date they are at now?

Woooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooooooo hey there happy to see you again!

Thank you very much yes boy was I in shock and very happy about it. I'm not sure but it has to be very

close even if they keep telling me 60 days I don't believe it. Some have waited that long for some reason but some are taking 35, 40 days etc. So we are close and God willing we wont wait for ever for an interview date. I saw someone waited only 3 months for interview which if they are consistent is a great improvement from the 6 to 8 months it was at. Let's pray this comes to a positive end soon.:) Insha'Allah t0803.gif

Just want to ask.do we need to call NVC to get the IIN or are they will send us an email

Call if you don't want to wait forever the e-mails are taking a very long time believe me. So call when you think your getting close. Good luck. (F) (L) (F)
