Ok here it goes, I got an email to fill DS-261 thrice and I called NVC to know whats going on??? The rep I talked to was very very rude since the starting. He told me, he can't see my form in their system, AND I NEED TO RESUBMIT IT and I was almost into tears. Its been 30 days already.!! If I resubmit now, It would reset the clock. I just feel so low. Couple of days back a rep told me, I don't need to resubmit it because it shows completed on website and also I have the confirmation number with me. So I called NVC again, hoping for a nicer NVC rep. She told me, don't resubmit it. You need to wait couple of weeks more. It is not showing into our system because it hasn't been reviewed yet. I don't want to share all this with my hubby because he already thinks I am agonizing over this whole process. These reps are giving contradicting statements. I don't know whom to believe. If after 30 business days or whatever 60 days, it doesn't show up into their system, Can I call for a supervisor review? I don't want to resubmit it after waiting for 60 days and waiting again for another 60 days.I don't know what to do...!! I am so fed up now :cry::cry::cry::cry:

You don't want to touch the DS-261 unless you want to set a new world record of the longest waiting time to pay the IV fee. :rofl:

I suggest that you wait for 15 more days since it's been almost 30 days since you filled out the DS-261. :star:

If you don't receive the IV fee invoice email by the end of this month, I suggest that you call them up to remind them that you've waited for 30 business days (45 days) for the IV fee invoice. :yes:

You can call back and speak to a supervisor if it will make you feel better. The agents on the phones really don't know what goes on. They make things up on the top of their head (my experience with them). My hubby could call them and they tell him one thing, then I call 30 mins later and they tell me something totally different.. XD

Wow talk about timing!!! I just complained on this site today that my tax transcripts I requested in June never arrived. My husband just called me at work to let me know they arrived in today's mail. These are definitely the ones I requested in June, not July, since there were 2013 and 2011, the July request was 2013 only.

So now I am faced with a dilemma... Do I send in a copy of my 2013 transcript (I am doing electronic processing)? I know they haven't reviewed my AOS package yet so maybe they will just review it all together. Or do I wait and hope I don't get a checklist for sending in my return copy, since I never had any 1099s or w2s?

What do you guys think?

Hey guys,

I got a letter from NVC with my interview date (Montreal Consulate) today.

It's been a long Journey but I'm glad it's coming to a close. I had received a letter just 2 weeks ago saying to expect delays (60 day letter), so I'm pleasantly surprised to get this interview letter. The letter is dated Aug 15 and the interview date is Sept 23rd.

Interestingly, my AOS had changed from "PAID" to "N/A" on their website 2 days ago so I knew something was up. Like others have suggested, this may be a sign that the case is complete.

Hope others get some good news soon.

Hi Amanda

This is absolutely crazy. It doesn't make sense why you are still waiting. Clearly they are not reviewing in the order they scanned them in. I definitely think you need to speak to a Supervisor. Have you ever asked for a Supervisor. I did once but it never worked but I know many people have asked/insisted to speak to one and get put through. Let's hope you hear tomorrow. I know you will not sleep well tonight. Will be watching in the morning. Xx

I know, it is crazy. I feel like my file fell off someone's desk into the shredder or something. I have never asked to speak to a supervisor, but I might try today depending on what they tell me now that I have hit the 60 day mark. I am on hold now. Will let you know how it goes.

WOHO!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:
