Okay.

Last night I was thinking about this whole process. I know that people who filed recently got approved within a month, why within few days. But we ( 2013) filers we had to wait for more than 5 months some even 10 months.

Ok. Next is our NVC. Most of us got approval from Jan2014 to April 2014... ( Mostly filers May 2013 - Dec 2013).So from May 2014 Nvc started to get applications 3 times more than they used to receive...but June 2014 is the peak month ( according to the scanned days they took). But after July 3rd week they received the docs and scanned within 2 days and now its less than 2 days I guess.

So, Nvc will be back to normal after they finish scan docs July 15-20.

And I am sure peoplewill get case complets within 2 weeks... hmmm?? May be 1 week who knows.

( Excuse my sentence structure lol ).

This process is like a natural disaster. We are facing it. But people come next will never know

I am still waiting for docs scanned on 20th June, so looks like some of us got skipped. All we can do is wait and hope.

Hey Love My Tico, So nice to hear from you and extremely happy that you are finally together with your husband..... My best wishes to both of you......

Yes, it's true I'm still stuck at NVC, but to be honest the problem was from our end and not NVC.... An unexpected delay at the last moment by our joint sponsor in getting his AOS papers ready, and here I am still stuck up at NVC...... Sheer "Bad Luck", what else can I say. Amidst all the tears, pain and mental agony which words cannot describe finally we managed to submit our AOS package on July 30th and that has brought me into VJ again after nearly 3 months. So now the wait continues.............

You and me started this process together last year, and not many know what all you had to go through as well as I do...... I can say by now I have atleast half of your 'Never Say Die Attitude' and this nightmare of a process has made me and my spouse a lot more stronger....

Shall surely convey the good news once I am out of NVC and once again please convey my regards to your family.... Keep in touch buddy!!!

Wow guys. The day has turned.

Just checked my email and Singapore Police Certificate is going to be sent out to me tomorrow. Should get UK original Birth Certificate by next week so can then send to NVC. Think I will just send docs and not apply to expedite and then wait two weeks to be turned down. Just going to get them off and wait for a CC. Could get a November interview.

Oh I missed you. Seems like we are going to near the end of this dark tunnel. Seems nvc is processing July. How are you doing dear?

Missed you to sugar and OMG I hope so this is just a nightmare, were when you think your awake your still in it. :( Let's hope and pray we are close to this step in the process. I still have to send papers they say I didn't send with the AOS but couldn't do it so hopefully tomorrow.

Hahahaha hi Molly sorry thanks to TimeWarner I was without internet and phone for a few days. I connected everything perfectly the guy comes does something with this little box thing and all of a sudden internet. What a ripoff they are. Really then why don't I know it. :( they asked for our Citizenship papers (copies) and letter stating why no taxes were filed. I sent all that but they asked for it again. I'll call early tonight see what they say the SOB's now I'm confused. They never ever give me a clear response. :ot3609.gif

Why the hell are they asking for citizenship papers in IR1 visa :wow: and if u already submitted the letter then why woulf they ask again :( i m so so sorry soloenta I thought u were done with this BS package :cry:

OMG what the !!!!! Didn't you submit copies of your citizenship at USCIS stage? You should call tonight and maybe request to speak with a supervisor, preferably Sylvia, heard she's the best, explain to her you have already submitted what they asked for. Did you have joint sponsors..? Because they ask for proof to show they're US citizens.. AKA copies of Birth Certificates or Passports.. On the checklist it tells you who it needs the copies of the proof.

That's good news. Just hang in there, all this will soon be over, you and kids will be united soon with your hubby. Am so sorry for the blackout today, I wish you speedy recovery.

Can this get any worse.

Took my son to swim training at 4.30 am went back to bed got up again at 7.00 am to collect him. Got up too quick, blacked out, smashed head and face against bedside cabinet and broke arm. Am in a backslab for a week before they cast it. Am in so much pain. Can't drive but am going to HAVE to. Children need to get to school.

Hubby spoke to lawyer. They have suggested they call Consulate and see if we can get file sent down from NVC, set an interview and I take this Singapore Police Certificate and original Birth Certificate - because they didn't like my Adoption one - to interview. Don't know how that will go. Can't think straight. Feel dizzy from the drugs. Am so over this. Just want to cry. Sorry for being so down. I am usually really upbeat. Will be back to my old self in a couple of days.

Looks like they are working on July. Our AOS checklist was scanned 22nd July.

12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."

Can this get any worse.

Took my son to swim training at 4.30 am went back to bed got up again at 7.00 am to collect him. Got up too quick, blacked out, smashed head and face against bedside cabinet and broke arm. Am in a backslab for a week before they cast it. Am in so much pain. Can't drive but am going to HAVE to. Children need to get to school.

Hubby spoke to lawyer. They have suggested they call Consulate and see if we can get file sent down from NVC, set an interview and I take this Singapore Police Certificate and original Birth Certificate - because they didn't like my Adoption one - to interview. Don't know how that will go. Can't think straight. Feel dizzy from the drugs. Am so over this. Just want to cry. Sorry for being so down. I am usually really upbeat. Will be back to my old self in a couple of days.

Looks like they are working on July. Our AOS checklist was scanned 22nd July.

I'm with mobar, investigate why you fainted to rule other culprits out.

Feel terrible for you, but there HAS to be a bright side...
