Just booked my flights for a holiday in Belgium for 10 days in October!! My sweet gal will join me for at least 5 of them. Yay!!! The wait seems to melt away now that I know when I will actually be seeing my wife!! Hopefully by then we will have everything submitted and waiting for the CC.

Have a lovely holiday ahead.

I sent a correction without even getting a checklist so you will be fine. They will review it like every other piece of mail.

thank you so much!!!! if until tomorrow i do not receive the mail we send it with the aos coversheet , i only hope my cc :/ , IV package and ds 260 approved 08/7 :)

I didn't include the checklist itself and got through just fine. Make sure you send it with a copy of the barcoded cover sheet though so it gets added to your case.

Well, I hope I get an email, coz they're driving me crazy with their answers when I call," sir, you have to wait 60 days for you case to be entered  "

60 days?? They are so inconsistent. The two times I called they said 20-30 business days. They received your case about 5 days after mine so hopefully you'll get the case number shortly!

They won't be able to input your email until the case is entered into their system. If they had an email from your I-130 you may get the case # email anyways, but don't count on it. Keep calling once a week or every few days once they've had your case 30 days. You may get your case # and IIN without calling, but you might not.

Hang in there and prepare to be frustrated.

Well, I hope I get an email, coz they're driving me crazy with their answers when I call," sir, you have to wait 60 days for you case to be entered  "

And don't worry, it won't take 60 days for your case to be entered. They are saying 60 days for everything but case number will come much quicker than that. Everything else on the other hand, will take 60 days.

I am the USC Petitioner. My wonderful wife Laura is from Scotland.
