I believe I read somewhere CMR is for the (outdated) DS-230, CMR AOS is for the AOS documents and so on, and DR is for check-listed items.

This is just something I THINK I read somewhere, so if anyone actually knows please correct me.

Our journey so far:
May '13: Met at university in the Netherlands
25 Jun '13: Became an official couple!

Called to see if they had a case number for my petition. Not yet.

I've seen others get the case number while their case was approved after mines and received after my receive date. NVC has no rhyme or reason for doing things

NVC received our case on same date as yours. No case number here either.

If u already sent all that then it should be a false checklist. Call and confirm!

Just talked to NVC. They are saying my AOS got approved today, but his system is not showing them receiving IV documents. Which is not possible since everything was sent on the same envelop. He said he was gonna put in a supervisor request. I really hope it was a false checklist and we will get a CC soon :(

I called them on Mon and asked talk to the supervisor but she didnt pass the phone. She said I should wait.

Keep trying. I was stuck too our DS-261 was sent on June 5th. So I kept on calling everyday and every person gave me a different answer...but this one day I called super early in the morning and Sylvia was there. she unlocked my IV fees and my DS-261 was completed couple of days after it.

Hi guys, I'm excited to say our expedite request was approved today! I'm suffering form some health issues and submitted the request on July 31st. I'm so overwhelmed and elated that they approved this request. You all have been so helpful and amazing during this whole process! My question is, what now? Anybody been through the expedite process? How long do we wait for them to contact us in regards to setting up an interview date and medical? Am I able to track my package leaving NVC and going to the embassy the same as if it were done through a normal case complete? It's through the Sydney consulate, so I'm trying to figure it all out because my husband would need to buy a flight to go out there.

Any information you all have would be amazing!!

I'll make sure to offer up as much information as we are going through the rest of the process!

Still rooting for all of you!!!

Hey sorry have to ask again I can't find that ATTN CMR and DR what do the

CMR

DR

Stand for? :luv:

They are the same thing. For example when I sent my AOS it was to CMR and then a NVC rep told me to send my IV package to DR. But when I was invoiced for the IV package they asked for it to be sent to CMR lol now I got a checklist for AOS and they had asked for it to be sent to DR.

In conclusion, there's no logic in these (in my opinion ofcourse)

Okay so we finally received the checklist email yesterday. It says there was an error on our AOS. Our lawyer put me, the beneficiary, as a family member on part 3. He was supposed to leave it blank. So, we will have to resend the AOS with that section blank. Also, it says part 6 section 13a gross income for my hubby, the petitioner, does not match federal tax income return. However, it is the correct figures; we double checked and cross referenced with tax papers too.

Also, the checklist email say that the petitioner, my hubby's, proof of citizenship is missing. Our lawyer mailed copies of naturalization certificate and passport biometric page with the i-130 initially. Was he supposed to send them again to NVC???

Arghhh im sooo confused and bummed out at the same time :( dont think i will get an interview til oct or nov at this rate!!!!

CMR = Complete Moratorium on Reviews

DR = Delayed Reviews

LOL for real. My friend has her and her 2 daughters and they say send her's to CMT and daughters to DR. Now they have been split up throughout this mess. They went to CSC then she got approved but NO they send the girls to TSC (yes this is a I-130 petition times 3) the girls sat at TSC for months. Finally approved. Now NVC doesn't know how to combine and says they have to pay AOS $88 fee twice one for her one for the girls. Like say what. OMG

Sorry venting for my friend. Like what in the world is wrong with immigration. I say lets all just run for the border dang they cant catch us all.

'Most' being the operative word... We hit 30 business days last Thursday :(

Seems like the Aussies are copping it lately!

We understand how that happened because you got stuck in both backlogs. If you had waited for one year, you would have gotten auto-expedited because you both live overseas.

Well, I don't know if your friends and family get it because that is a wild statement - you could have waited a year to submit your immigration application and still be exactly where you are today... Yep, that sounds a little crazy! :dead:

I hope you get a CC this week so you can end this nightmare and move on. Fingers crossed!

Thanks Austin, your kind words are appreciated. Fingers crossed, backlog buddy!

kinda figured! maybe it is really taking 60 days.... :ranting::ranting::ranting: tomorrow will be 30 business days for me....

my aos checklist already passed 30 business days, no updates at all.

everytime I call, they will tell me it looked like both aos and IV were under review... they kept telling me the same thing since beginning of july, how many days do they need to review 2 pieces of doc! :bonk::bonk: really!

such a drag.... and ive never rec'd any false checklist.....:whistle: i'm assuming they have not looked at my aos checklist response yet...:ph34r::ph34r::ph34r: shoot me with some bamboo shoots....... :wow::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I feel you Jenny, my ASO checklist is at about 38 business days now. Good news is my 60 days is Friday (however, I won't get too excited because if they go over, there is still nothing I can do about it. They will just tell me "at LEAST 60 days")

Oh, same here. we filed our i-130 18 months ago and still at the beginning of the NVC process.

I keep asking myself what lesson should i learn from this experience?? Each step makes me so nervous I as expect any obstacle that might delay it even further.

My husband tries to come visit us as often as he can. and I am just exercising my patience and always happy to see people getting approved. That gives me hope that on day i will be there.

Wow, 18 months?! Your good attitude will get you through it. Glad to hear your husband is able to visit, that is a long time to be apart.

Hi everyone I'm new here.

I recently paid my AOS fee but wasn't aware that I had to sent the packet myself, so I'm doing that tomorrow.

The problem is I'm using a joint sponsor, so for the packet what exactly would I need to include?

Congrats on being here! Please make sure to read and re-read this link about the process at the NVC: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

It will help you with everything you need to include from here on out.
