Congratz! Thank God they are still on their 30 biz days mark!!

Thanks!

Yup. And I did get my "60 days" email on Aug 4th for this AOS, but looks like they're able to stick to 30 business days, for now, for most people.

For the second day in a row, got straight through first time (no hold music) and spoke to Kevin. Still no news, but I'm hoping if I get through to him again tomorrow morning it might be a case of "Third time's a charm" and he'll have good news for us ;)

Hello,

On Monday the 11th I received a false civic documents checklist, meaning (I think) that they accepted my AOS package. Scan date on that was June 30, so looks like exactly 30 business days. Will call NVC later to confirm.

Just got off the phone with NVC. Got through right away. Spoke with Torie. Very nice lady but kind of clueless, might be new. Tried to convince me that the August 11th false checklist for "supporting civil documents" was for some missing document from my AOS package "received in mail on June 23rd but not yet reviewed".

I kept insisting that I don't believe that is correct, because the checklist was about NVC receiving my DS-260 (submitted on 7/18).

She then looked again, and decided that in fact my AOS was accepted ("approved") on August 7th and the checklist is false as they're waiting 60 days to review my 7/24 IV package. This version I can agree with.

If it wasn't for VJ I'd be just as clueless and do what they say.

My DS 261 Scan date was 7/10 , my AOS Package was 7/25, and my IV Package was 8/11 - I am still waiting for the IV fee Bill. I know they are telling people 60 days, but somehow I keep believing God will be gracious unto me through this process - so I call NVC everyday BY FAITH and hope to hear news about me paying the IV fee bill and that nothing was wrong with any of my packages. Not hearing from them is crazy, so I call everyday just to make sure at least we are communicating. I find this quite therapeutic - except for the rude ones!!!

NVC is really unbearable and to be honest, its the grace of God that is really helping us because its not easy to be away from our spouses. Just hang in there, all this will soon be over.

Called to see if they had a case number for my petition. Not yet.

I've seen others get the case number while their case was approved after mines and received after my receive date. NVC has no rhyme or reason for doing things

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

Cesar, it should be 60 calendar days before they have a response for you, but it may be even sooner. Most people on this forum seem to think that the NVC is telling everyone to wait for 60 days in order to cover themselves, but it will hopefully be sooner than that.

thank you!!!

I am going crazy !!!! I have 3 beneficiaries my wife, my son and my daughter, after i paid my AOS fee i called the NVC and i was directed to mail the 3 cover sheets and ONE affidavit of support form they told me that ONE form will take care of all 3 cases. I called yesterday and they told me they haven't received my AOS in the case i called for, but I got an email about a week ago saying that the have received my AOS in one of the other cases I am confused.....
