I just called NVC to confirm the case complete, last scan was Jun 27 (DHL delivery of my documents were on Jun 23).

My file has been at NVC for almost 5months and without doubt that's really long time, my process has been delayed by Singapore police report and some flaw in previous document filing.

Thank you for all the help and information in this forum.

Congratulations!!! :dancing:

I wanna see the magic NA appears on my CEAC

any CC today? it gives me hopes when I see others get CC..

NVC!!! hire me plz!!!!....I will cc all...

I am the same, I can't wait for the magical NA. Fingers crossed for more cc's this week (particularly yours and mine!) I am happy for anyone getting a cc, but deep down it is painful to see people from July getting them when some of us from June are still waiting :clock:

I am waiting at airport for my flight, did already POE in Montreal and it was fast and easy! Thank you for all the help and support, I wish you good luck to all of you in your journey.

Tonight in the arms of my husband and party time

How exciting!!! :dancing::dancing:

Day 57 and still no cc. Getting so discouraged, I don't even want to check ceac anymore. Each time is like a tiny dagger of disappointment in my heart. I truly feel like this is just never going to happen for me. The longer it takes the more I worry they have found something else wrong and will issue me a another checklist. It's just constant worry and butterflies, I really hate this.

I m really not coping up with this well anymore. Cried myself to sleep last night. Nvc is making this a torture. Isn't there anything we can do about this? Any complaining or anything? I feel like our marriage is dangling with a thread now. It's been 18 months since I saw my husband. And I really can't lose strength with us being so close to the target line.

I know that this is so hard but just hang in there. Once it is over it will all be behind you and you can just enjoy being with your husband. I am sure it is equally hard for him. It is so out of our control. Sending you love.

Just called NVC like 30 times and can't get through! I'm trying to fill out the I-864ez according to their checklist where they had asked me to fill out the blank fields for sponsors information with n/a. But I had left hubby's social security and alien registration number blank before too, they didn't say to fill that with N/A.

Should I fill it out with N/A just in case or leave it as it is. I don't want another checklist because of silly mistakes again :'(

Good morning Augustians :) Somehow I have been extremely fortunate and received NOA2 about 2 weeks after NOA1. I have no idea how this happened but it did and I'm super grateful.

We are now scrambling to get the AOS stuff together. I called the NVC last Friday and they have not yet registered it but they have received it so I will just call once a week until the 30 days is up then maybe call more often.

I can organise my police certificate now, yes?

Also holy gosh how expensive are medicals?! I was just doing some research, looks like I'll be paying $400+ at best..

I petition for my wife to come to the us.

Submitted all paper work to NVC

2 time she submitted police certificate, names were search trough police data base

RCAMP and trough their system data base and was certified she send it twice

And we received email back stating that they still need the police certificate

Spoke to a few different agents on the phone no help because they are just giving their opinion

They are not able to see notes in their computer system stating why they are not accepting her

Police certificate from Canada. They also are failing to explain in the email what is missing in the certificate

Very frustrating spent over 2 months trying to sort out what they really need in that certificate and we follow the directions on the email that they send us even taking that email to the actual police dept in Canada were they provide the police certificate. Can any one shed some light on this or any suggestions please?

Hi Amanda

Another week for us both. I am not waiting for anything but I am SURE you are going to hear this week - you must.

Can you send me a message with your personal email so we can communicate outside of VJ.

Will be cheering you on this week.

Hugs.

Hi SharksBelow

Wow, that is unbelievable that you received your NOA2 so quickly but I am pleased for you. Now for the wait here at NVC. I have been here since 1st April although I never received my Case Number until 2nd May. Paid AOS then waited for a month for the IV invoice. However, some folk have waited over 2 months for the IV invoice. This is all such a crazy game.

Yes, you can get your Police Certificate now. I live in SA and got a Police Certificate. If you live in SA it is a National one. However, it wasn't good enough for NVC and they checklisted me for a QLD one as well. I lived there for a little over a year 15 years ago. QLD won't give a full fingerprint one as I don't live there anymore so I am getting a Certificate of No Criminal Conviction.

Anyway, stay in touch with us - there are a few Aussies on this thread. Perhaps we can all meet up for a celebratory glass of bubbles at the interview!!!

msc13 I would love that :) Thank goodness for this site. There's no way we would have got even the first petition right if I didn't read this site!

I'm crossing my fingers that hubby and I get to leave the country together when he gets booted out (not really just the end of his 462 visa) at the end of February. I know that's SUPER ambitious and optimistic and in reality I don't think it will happen but hopefully it shouldn't be too much longer than that. The thought of being away from him is very painful to me. I know it's a feeling all too familiar on this site.

We did our first year of our relationship apart and I definitely don't want to go through that again. When you meet your person you just want to be with them all the time!

I haven't lived outside of Queensland so I have that going for me. The police station is just around the corner so I will pop over there in a bit and see if I can get my certificate ordered. I suppose it takes some time but at least we have some up our sleeve with the package only being received by NVC mid last week.

My amazing parents-in-law are joint sponsoring me and they have sent all their stuff to us so we just have to collate that and wait for the AOS Bill next. :)

That all sounds great. I so hope it works for you and I will be watching and reading VJ and staying in touch with you.

I wish my husband was here. We have been married 17 years, have two children ages 13 and 15 both who are US Citizens. We lived in upstate New York for 6 years plus lived in New Hampshire and Texas on my previous Green Card. However, we were here when it expired and the Sydney Consulate wouldn't renew it last year so my husband went off back to the US in September thinking we were joining him 2 weeks later. Kids didn't even bother to come to the airport! He has been down twice since and thank goodness for Skype as we speak every day. Hopefully it won't be too long now.

Have a good day.
