Yes, confirm on Monday.

And you can't be on two spreadsheets! :P Once someone requests to be on the new layout, I remove them from the old one.

Ok, I called to confirm and Carla said they have been entered into the system on August 8. She told me they are reviewing them now and I got all excited and she said it will take 60 days for them, lol. I asked her how was the weather and she said beautiful. When I asked her if there were no more snow days, she said that's a bad word.

 

 

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).

Anyone know how I know if I need a joint sponsor? My husband and I wont have a job, bit anyone know how much money you need to have saved to be okay without one??

3x the poverty guidelines. Check the I-864p on the USCIS website to determine the poverty guideline for your household size. It varies for a couple states (like Alaska and Hawaii)

By the way, I've noticed people talking about education questions on the DS-260. I didn't get any questions about my education, other than current employer/school in which I gave my employer's details. It went through no problem, so I guess it's normal for them to not ask about it in some cases?

hi, under the "Work/Education/Training Information" section of DS-260, there is a question on page 1 of 2, "Have you attended any educational institutions at a secondary level or above?" I checked Wikipedia what secondary meant and it had two meanings, one was grades 9 through 12, so I gave information related to that.

yes sure! my husband and attorney forgot to complete the part 8 (1b) ,they forgot put the date! yeah sounds stupid! because is something easy! , but my IV package and ds260 were approved! my scan date ( aos and iv package 25/06 ) but i don't know if it is ok send it tomorrow with the first coversheet or wait and receive the email :/ , i don't want to lose more days ... :(

OMG... such a trivial thing to receive a checklist for. This actually made me go and check the I-864 to see whether my lawyer and husband put the date or not.

She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!

No idea why they're interested in educational records from those ages, but secondary school is high school in the US (kids aged roughly 14-18 in grades 9-12). College/university is referred to as post-secondary education.

No idea why they're interested in educational records from those ages, but secondary school is high school in the US (kids aged roughly 14-18 in grades 9-12). College/university is referred to as post-secondary education.

10/03/2014 - NVC received emailed expedite request, forwarded to Belgrade Embassy (financial)

10/09/2014 - Belgrade Embassy denied expedite (financial)

10/16/2014 - Emailed expedite request to NVC, forwarded to Belgrade Embassy (NVC error)

10/17/2014 - Expedite ACCEPTED!!! (NVC error)

10/23/2014 - NVC shipped case to BLG

11/07/2014 - Called BLG, inquired about case and received interview date, interview packet was mailed 11/6/14, never received any email
11/13/2014 - Received interview packet, postmarked 11/10/14 even though BLG said sent on 11/6/14

11/13/2014 - Medical
11/19/2014 - Interview- APPROVED!!

11/21/2014 - BLG posted visa packet through DHL to Čačak (has tracking number)
11/24/2014 - Visa in hand (picked up in Čačak at DHL)
11/28/2014 - Goodbye Serbia!
11/29/2014 - POE in Seattle

*On 08/01/14 I received a checklist via email and responded right away. Over a month later, on 09/09/14, I received the hard-copy in the mail. Upon reading the hard-copy, I found that NVC made a mistake and emailed me the wrong checklist. I contacted a supervisor at NVC and she instructed me to write a letter of explanation to accompany my "real" checklist response. She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!
