The part on the AOS form that says, "preparer name(if different than sponsor)" . I've filled that part out by mistake....so did my joint sponsor, is that fine or should I white it out? Would they give a checklist cause of this? I mean it's just extra information....? I am so stressed about getting anything wrong on the AOS form. lol

They're saying 60 calendar days for review so I'm assuming your form will be reviewed based on that.

They check the DS-260 and AOS independently. I called last Thursday and they had checked my AOS whereas I submitted my DS-260 just yesterday. Also my IV package was sent late July, but the AOS was late june. They check documents based on when they receive them I think.

That's my experience though, everyone's case is pretty independent.

I would not submit this particular information because of what it means. It means that you actually pay a service agency to fill this out for you - since you are the one filling it, it means you are legally responsible for the information on the form vs an inidividual in a business who provide this information. I would WHITE OUT

I just printed out my pay stubs since my company is paperless pretty much and I also made a black and white copy of the W2...according to the operator on the phone, they did accept them.

Thanks for the feedback, I will just send them photocopies because I have just 1 copy of the original which I would like to hold on to. I added in the cover letter that I am including photocopies and the originals will be available to review during the interview.

Guys do NOT use white out on the I-864. It says right on the USCIS page where you download the I-864 that you should not use correction fluid. This is an official government, legally binding document. You don't see white out on loans, leases, wills etc... if you rewrote your own information as the preparer, leave it or redo the form. Preferably redo it correctly before sending.

Also you just need photocopies of W2's (which only need to be sent if you're sending the entire tax return, do not send them if you are sending the tax transcript as per the I-864 instructions), tax transcripts, and pay stubs. The employment letter, if included, should be original.

I though you could, legally, if you just initial next to the correction and you're the original signee. Don't know about official US government documents, though.

Hi

1) It is 30 business days maybe more . 30 business days for you is August 20th minimum.

2)I don't think it works like that. They scan and review your documents as received / scanned. Then you wait for the new 60 day review policy from nvc
