Without the email how do you know exactly what was checklisted?

yes sure! my husband and attorney forgot to complete the part 8 (1b) ,they forgot put the date! yeah sounds stupid! because is something easy! , but my IV package and ds260 were approved! my scan date ( aos and iv package 25/06 ) but i don't know if it is ok send it tomorrow with the first coversheet or wait and receive the email :/ , i don't want to lose more days ...

Still waiting for interview date. Our cases were completed on July 31st. Received confirmation email on August 7th.

Anyone knows if they are still scheduling interviews for September in Montreal?

hi guys , the last friday i had aos checklist ! but we do not receive the email yet . Can I send it with the aos coversheet that i got ? because I heard in some cases that the email takes about 3 -5 labor days and I would like to send it tomorrow as soon as possible.

If you were told about the checklist over the phone on Friday, I guess the email should come on Monday. Would advise you wait till tomorrow and see if the email comes or not.

Just submitted the DS260 yesterday.

hi everyone..

got concern here regarding passport. and I appreciate your response.

Being said I submitted my DS260 and I noticed my passport has 7 months validity before it gets expired.

So while waiting for my docs to be reviewed and for the interview to be scheduled, can I renew my passport next month ( 4-6weeks processing to get a new one)? how does it take to get the interview date now in Montreal?

I have been not updated since we paused our papers, kindly advice me please. thanks

I think may be nvc is working from June 26 th to July 3rd. So people who have their last scanned dates between this time might get good news next week. I saw a comment who stated that it takes approximately 2 days to review a document.

My IV documents should take them five seconds, I sent them the Embassy e-mails attached to each corresponding document where they say yes this is what we are asking for.

His talking about DS-261 and I think you are referring to DS-260.

They wont change the DS-260 I called and asked them to change one little thing and they said NO.

I think Passports have to be valid for at least 6 months at the time they issue your visa. Somebody can correct me if I am wrong. If you're applying for passport in person within Canada, it doesn't take more than 10 business days to receive a renewed one. You should get it done just to be on safe side.

It normally takes 3 weeks if you go to a service canada but only 2 if you go to a passport office. I would renew with a 10 year passport to avoid issues until much later. Did you already send IV docs? If not they're taking 60 calendar days to review things (vs the old 30 business days.) Basically they tacked on 2 weeks and stopped saying business days because people were so confused about it.

Plus it's significantly cheaper to renew in Canada than in the USA.
