I accidentally clicked on form DS-261 after submitting it (July 18th) and it showed incomplete but then I just clicked next and next and I don't remember resubmitting it and it shows complete since then. I am not worried about resetting the time because I opened it the same day after an hour or two. Whats freaking me out is if they have added my form to casefile or not. I have asked NVC so many times if they have received it or not but they all told," We do not have your form in our system yet.It takes 30 business days to review it." Well I guess they are not getting me, I just want to know if they received my form (not review) or I need to resubmit it again. Why is my form not into their system yet even after 10-12 business days? Does form completed means, they have received it? I know I am asking this question 2nd time because I am worried like anything with current processing times of NVC and I don't want to hear after 30 business days that we have not received your form yet though I have the confirmation number with me. If that is the case, I should resubmit it now.!! Somebody please guide. :cry2:

This is great!!!But CC email? So technically they were CC earlier this week?

I am curious if they do work overtime today as JIM told me earlier this week or people just havent looked at their CEAC until today to see the change?!

That's what I thought that it must have been sooner then. I doubt about them working overtime. I think the person just got lucky.

Why don't u call the again and hope for a nicer assistant? Tell them u r not asking if it's reviewed of not u r just confirming if it's recieved. When I asked to inquire about my IV invoice they told me themselves that they received it 11th June so wait 30 biz days. Call again! And no please don't resubmit it! I m sure they have it in their system. Relax! They do this to get on our nerves that's all.

Guys,

I Called NVC with question about AOS, Last year i worked few months only, income of 22K the house hold member of 3(me,wife n kid). I have included my current check stubs and Employment letter showing my current income which is more than sufficient for AOS determination. The Operator at NVC told me they dont judge your income solely on your last year Tax Return, They base AOS out of your current Income and that i should not worry if my currently income is more than what is listed on my last year's Tax Return. Will they ask for co-sponsor? My current income mean is more than sufficient...

Hi everyone

I am so hoping for a good week for everyone.

My husband is in consultation with our lawyers about our checklist.

Hopefully we can move forward. Have been able to order my original British Birth Certificate as I found my birth parents many years ago so know all my details. Hopefully this will satisfy NVC.

Am happy for the progress. I hope and pray you get done with NVC as soon as possible. Edited by EOC4ever

I am hoping your husband has luck sorting the checklist out with the lawyers. Good to hear you were able to order the original.

That's good news, am glad they have started with july packages.

I accidentally clicked on form DS-261 after submitting it (July 18th) and it showed incomplete but then I just clicked next and next and I don't remember resubmitting it and it shows complete since then. From my understanding, once its submitted, the only way to change it is to call NVC and have them update it. if it shows complete, then you should be good to go... you can reclick on the complete button and you will see its locked. and submitted..

Upon reading the hard-copy, I found that NVC made a mistake and emailed me the wrong checklist. I contacted a supervisor at NVC and she instructed me to write a letter of explanation to accompany my "real" checklist response. She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!
