I answered "N/A" to question 22 on I-130 too. My petition was approved last week and I just received my NOA2 hardcopy today stating that:

If the person for whom you are petitioning decides to apply for an immigrant visa outside the United States based on this petition, the petitioner should file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, to request that we send the petition to the Department of State National Visa Center.

I filed from overseas for my husband. I called USCIS to file a service request to California service center hoping that they would forward my case to NVC... I really hope to skip filing I-824!!!

I just want to know for those who have answered "N/A" to Q22 on I-130 and have had their cases forwarded to NVC, did you see the above statement on your approval notice too?

I am really worried now!!!

I answered "N/A" to question 22 on I-130 when I should have put "Paris, France" as the American Consular post. I called USCIS to file a service request to California Service Center to have my case forwarded to NVC. No words yet, but if they declined my request, I will have to file I-824. I really hope that I won't need to do that!

Can someone who has had this problem tell me more about their subsequent journey? Many thanks in advance!

Background info: I am a USC filing abroad for my husband and received NOA2 hardcopy today stating this:

I also answered "N/A" to all sections in question 22 and my spouse is living abroad...Hoping that my case gets forwarded to NVC once it gets approved.

Hoping that others who have gotten their approvals and have their cases forwarded to NVC can shed some light on our doubts.

Thanks in advance.
