A POE is any point where a visitor from another country enters into the USA. So if the airport you are mentioning accepts international flights, and has a customs area, then it's a POE.

It accepts International Flights but I was unsure if it had customs station. I assume it does but I am still searching for offical word.

Yes, if you come in on a scheduled airline flight, you have nothing to worry about. All airline flights go through a POE (a few go through a pre-clearance station, which is for all practical purposes the same thing, but outside the US so you clear immigrations/customs before boarding your plane). Any airport that handles international airline flights will be able to handle someone entering with a K or immigrant visa.

POE LAX

I wasn't asked anything, I wonder if it was because it was K3 and that I was travelling with a child?

I certainly had no trouble and it didn't take long at all. I had packed my x ray in the suitcase as well and am now using it as an educational tool for my son lol

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

This must be a silly question, but if you are crossing at a land POE, I will be through Alexandria Bay Ontario, where do you get this I94? Since you drive through I'm assuming you are going to have to park and go inside and do paperwork there??

Is there anything special for a land crossing?? Any notes or tips?

Thanks

If you are going driving through customs, they will tell you go inside to have all the paperwork done. It'll probably be processed in about an hour or so. They have pretty much all they need in the yellow envelope so it shouldnt take too long.

Its a piece of cake!
