I-485 AOS, weapons training: mention university sports course?

hello VJers,

i attended a sport shooting course at the university sports department for one semester.

does this count towards the weapons training in the I-485 form?

also, since i entered the country on Visa Waiver Program, I don't have an I-94 number, correct? Do I put "none" in the respective field in Part 1?

and current USCIS status would then be "WT", with the expiry date stamped in my passport?

in Part 3 again I-94, name as it appears on the I-94 form Arrival-Departure record. Do I just write my name here, or have to leave blank as I don't have an I-94 form?

I entered the US through Canada, thus Toronto/Ontario is my Place of Last Entry?

thanks!

I think that counts for weapons training; saying yes and explaining won't be cause for denial.

Did you enter by air or land? If you did preclearance in Toronto then your POE is Toronto.

Yes, you put none for I-94.

thanks for your input!

technicality: when filling out the I-485 form electronically it won't accept the a word ("none") in the social security, alien registration or I-94 number fields. any letters get autmatically changed to Zeros (looks like in a sequence used for the respective numbers, such as 000-00-0000 for social security nr).

any experience whether it's better to go for the Zeros, or fill-out by hand, or leave blank?

when entered on Visa Waiver Program, current USCIS status is "WT", with the expiry date stamped in my passport?

re: "name as it appears on the I-94 form Arrival-Departure record": can I will in the following:

n/a (no Form I-94 as entered under Visa Waiver)

and yes, i entered by air, through toronto pearson airport. thanks!

thanks a lot!

You can fill them in by hand, if they make you put numbers.

You could check online to see if you have a I-94; I have heard of VWP getting them now that they are electronic but I am not sure why. https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

WT is Waiver Traveller and you can put that or tourist or VWP. Any of them are fine.
