My wife is undergoing the test for tb in Manila Philippines. Does anyone have any information or experience to share about this. We are both worried about it. She has not been sick just something showed on her ex ray. Please advise if you can.

Hi! My husband did the same thing. They found a scar in his X-ray, so he went for a three day sputum cultural test last july 30,31 & aug 1. He went back to St lukes on Aug 6 for the result of what they call smear results (thank GOd it was negative). Now were just waiting for two mos. for the cultural results to come out. They told him to call St Lukes on oct. 1 for the result of his cultural. ( praying its negative too..?) It was supposedly his interview yesterday the 7th but we got delayed for two months because of the sputum test.
