Waiting for oath letter in New Orleans

Just reading through the older posts on this thread it looks like New Orleans takes a long time to schedule oath ceremonies.

For example, this applicant waited 3 months and that was over the summer... things have slowed down even more since then at all offices.

If you asked for a name change it may take even longer than usual.

Your choices are to wait, go in again and speak to someone again, try your luck with another of your representatives who might get a better response. Personally, I would try all three, but given how slow the schedule appears to be, I would probably wait another month before getting too anxious.

The important thing is to determine if they've approved you yet or not... is sounds like as of 3 weeks ago, your application had not yet been approved. If they don't make a final decision on it, you have the option to take them to court.

No name change. Ill make another info pass soon and see what happens... Thanks much for the info!
