How long does it take for the NVC to receive the file from TSC and how long does the NVC take to send it to the consulate?

Based on my experience, it took less than 12 days from TSC to NVC, sit at NVC about 5 days before the US embassy in Jakarta received my file electronically within 2 days.

How long does it take for the NVC to receive the file from TSC and how long does the NVC take to send it to the consulate?

Please update your Timeline. It would be a great help to those of us at TSC who are tying to monitor it. We're dying here.

Look at my timeline.

It took 14 days from NOA2 to NVC sending the case to embassy,

and 22 days from NOA2 to receiving packet 3 from embassy.

So things should go quicker from here.

January 24, 2014: received email notification that package was received

January 27, 2014: "Alien Registration Number" changes

By this time I am jumping in joy thinking **I can't believe this is moving so quickly!!**... then of course the following six months were awful!!

July 21, 2014: received email that my package was approved at USCIS

July 23, 2014: received an email stating that TSC sends package to the NVC

that's where I am at right now. I have been calling the NVC every day since this past Monday (I know guys, I have no patience - - but seriously, can you blame me? TSC literally tortured me!)

NVC has yet to receive my file...now the second part of the torture begins... :(

When TSC sent mine on 7/16 (Wed) they had it by 7/21 (Mon).

K-1

I-129F NOA1 => NOA2: 161 days

NOA2 => Interview: 64 days

AP: 33 days

Total: 258 days

AOS

I-485 NOA => GC: 333 days

No Interview

ROC

07/30/2017: Package Sent

08/01/2017: NOA

09/07/2017: Biometrics

12/04/2018: Approved! 490 days

Thanks for the congratulations! I just updated my profile so hopefully it will be better to follow. I'm just wondering how much longer till the NVC receives this... tick tock...

TSC sent mine on 7/14 and it was received/logged into the system at the NVC on 7/22 - 8 days later.

sometimes it can take longer for the NVC to acknowledge receipt of your case and enter it into their system if they receive a lot of petitions at once. so just keep calling them!

yes the NVC told me to wait 5 weeks as well, but following other people on this site has showed me that a majority of them received their status update within two weeks of TSC sending it to the NVC. hopefully we hear something soon!
