That sucks. I insisted on a cheap ring and a year and half ago the stone became loose in the setting, you can hear it rattle, so we brought it to a jeweler in Denmark and they said because of the ring style and the thinness of the prongs that they would do more damage trying to fix it. Thankfully, it hasn't fallen out yet, but part of the reason I wanted not a diamond was I knew if I got an expensive ring, I would totally lose it or break it and would be heartbroken.

I don't know if it is the type of guy friends I've had or the type of person I am, but everything starts out fine and good. Then, all of sudden, I'm getting invited to go on their engagement trip instead of their fiancee because they'd prefer me (this has happened) or their wife isn't quite liberated enough for them or the conservative political banter and libertarianism and those pesky Ayn Randian ideals about male and female relationships and....

No, no men.

well if you quit stooping all your male friends, maybe they wouldn't get fixated on you.

I just charged Tiff 4 bucks for notarizing 2 things for her aunt :content:

You should of charged her 40 bucks.

A notary public may charge a fee of $2.00 for administering an oath or affirmation or for taking an acknowledgment or proof of execution. Unless otherwise authorized by law, a notarial fee may not exceed this amount.

Damn in Alberta you have to pay form 30-50 depending on the lawyer but only a lawyer or judge can be a notary there.

The notary fee charged is dependent on state law guidelines.

I got my documents notarized by my office admin lady for free :content:

Ontarkie is it just me or are people getting dumber? Or are the dumb people just finding this website?

Lately more dumb people are finding themselves on the internet and it is a sad sad sight. Worse yet is that many of them reproduce. Our world truly is doomed.

Well, I don't stoop them, tyvm.

My wisdom teeth were impacted/infected so I know some of your pain. Ouch. The oral surgeon gave me this weird anti-inflammatory because opiates don't work for me. It was amazing and worked soo much better than the 4 ibuprofen + 2 tylenol combo I had going on.

Yes, the inflammation is a killer.

Excedrin seems to work the best for me.

No exercise the next couple days. Makes the blood pound in the tooth. Really cuts into the nookie too.

Nobody ever just stamps a document here. They always add a jurat, and charge 5 bucks.

And 75 for a certificate of acknowledgement.

I never charge anyone anything. I'm also a commissioner of deeds...

And likewise, all attorneys here are notaries public.
