I need to make supper or my husband will take me out to eat again I'm doing laundry today since Saturday will be busy and Sunday I get Lucas baptized so another busy day. Need to make a cake for Sunday, and cookies and donuts for today to keep the kids from touching the cake .

Sundays meal is all figured out, but no clue what to eat the next few days.

Rain stopped Lucas is still napping, house needs cleaning and I'm sitting here

Complain to the store manager!

I actually complained about our local Walmart here and the store manager called me to talk about it.

There was a Sam's Club employee who really pissed us off, and we helped get him fired by reporting him. We tell managers about good employees too, and that usually ends up in some gift they give us. Like meals at fast food joints. The regional managers are thrilled when they get a good report.

Sam's/Walmart have the same founder. Same sorts of company rules. At Sam's club, there is a ten foot rule. If they come within ten feet, they are supposed to make eye contact and greet the customer.

The employee at the exit checks your receipt before you leave the store, so every single shopper has to deal with this guy. I decided to watch him one day. He would time people coming to the exit by keeping an eye on them as they left the registers. As each person approached him, he made sure his back was turned to them and that he was looking somewhere else. He would stick his hand out and every customer would place the receipt in his hand.

He would not acknowledge them. He looked at the cart, made a mark on the receipt, and then held the receipt out. All the little obedient customers would take it back from him. I realized after seeing a few people get treated this way that he had a place he always looked to just as the customers were approaching him. A spot on the wall above the tire and battery department. There's nothing but an empty white wall there.

I realized how he was doing it. How he turned his job into a little power trip. To put every single customer in his place. So when I approached him with our full cart, sure enough he was looking at his spot on the wall. I did not put my receipt in his outstretched hand. It didn't take but a moment, and he turned to me with a look of shock and fear in his face. Nobody had ever done that to him before. I told him that he was never going to get far in life when he turns his job into a way of giving other people a put-down. I have been to your manager once already to complain about you, and I am calling him again right after I get home.

He thanked me, and it was the first time I saw a real person behind this uber-arrogant a$$. But the manager fired him. I called, and the manager was glad that I did. I talked to other employees the next time in, and had spoken with them before about it too. Nobody was surprised. They said the company was short of people, so they had given him more than one "second chance".

I wish the mosquito spraying would let up soon because I'd really like, for the sake of energy consciousness, to open my windows at night. They don't have a set time they spray, so unless you are sitting in a room and hear the truck coming enough in advance...

we have shifted to crop-dusters making the spray overnights now.

Spent the morning in Manhattan....business.

Then went to The Gap in Herald Square intending to replace 1 lost Oxford, caught a 55% off sale. bought 200 bucks worth of stuff.
