Hello all,

caught up on thread which I will have to do again in a couple of days. Hubs and I went to the lawyers office to sign paperwork on Wednesday.....it sucked more than I thought it would. Figured I was all fine about it but apparently I cried right after we left the office. It just sucks to have done all these things to be with him and then have it all fall apart in no time. The good thing is - he woke up on his own for the meeting, he paid half the cab fare and actually started speaking to me in a normal way after the signing. I think seeing me struggling with it made him feel better ? Or maybe deep down inside he knows that he just does not want to be an adult and so the anger was just ego acting up. Diablo III is coming up mid August so I am sure he is focused on that. :)

Cooking has been fun...I keep trying to made dill rolls and they keep not rising...grrrr.

Got my boxes today for packing...everything is closed up and labeled and now the food which I think is like 2 more boxes and I am done.

Biking too fast and too far is giving me knee pain..still....ugh so I could not go today.

I talked to my ex a few days ago, only took him 6 years to finally deep down realize that he is partly responsible for his part in our relationship and others. However, that partly does not exceed 50% under any circumstances and it is still entirely my fault he has no interest in seeing his child.

Maybe in 20 years he'll realize that it is more than 50% his fault and he is responsible for being an absentee parent. :sleepy: I'm so past my angry stage that I'm in such a place of matter of factness and pity towards him about it. How can someone exist and be so much in denial?

I waited a long time to get married just so I can get it right...

I waited long time to get married as well and what I have learned in the past couple of months is that it meant nothing...it is not at all about how long you wait to get married "to get it right" sometimes it simply isn't right no matter how much you want it to be.

You have two choices here......stay and survive or make a change and live.

My choice to leave was based on one thing - I am 35 and refuse to spend 20 years trying to make something work on my own only to realize I wasted my life and have very little left to make it right or am too afraid at that point to make a change.

I know your situation is more complicated, way way more complicated but I do hope you will find your path soon, one that will make you truly happy.

I know I'm over simplifying it, perhaps even trivializing it, so I'm sorry.

Sometimes people are good folk, but just aren't so good in a marriage.
