In Ecu, guinea pigs = food, see ma'am.

Wednesday back-report, si and less ouch man:

Had #2 acupuncture appointment this morn. Doc is as hopeful as I, si and PhD man.

Fever, which never got below Many F. (1 and 0 and 1, sweat man), lessened today, cool man.

However, fever was still Many F. (1 and 0 and 0) upon my awakening, suck man.

Asked acu doc whether acu can achieve fever-reduction; he said, "Sometimes, si man."

Doc inserted some extra needles, no pain man; were these for fever, huh man?

Bought "Death by Chocolate" ice cream; polished off Many% of carton, slurp man.

Napped for hour & half; awoke for Spine Doc appointment, zzz and no zzz man.

Mrs. T-B. drove, danger man, nearly causing loss of all back-therapy to date, womandriver man.

Paid $Many for Many-minute (2x2x2+2) caucus; foxy lady doc pleased with acu results, MD ma'am.

Foxy lady doc says no need to report back to her, no MD ma'am.

Foxy lady doc gratefully took card of acu doc & will refer patients to him, MD-to-PhD ma'am and man.

Mini-B. charmed everyone in waiting-room, wee man.

Mini-B. asked everyone if they would fix Daddy's back, wee man.

Upon exit from foxy lady doc, Mini-B. insisted on seeing Daddy's back, commenting "Wow!", wee man.

Drove away (me driving, relief man); gassed Mrs.-T-B.-mobile at cheap station in bad 'hood, me man.

Unwillingly took Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B. to CiCi's Pizza, sigh man; spent $Many, sigh man.

Pigged out, snarf man.

Rant: WHY do pizza emporia NOT have ratio of MANY pepperoni 'zas to every other 'za, huh man?

Returned to casa; badly wanted nap; got none because Mrs. T-B. wanted to go to gym, sigh man.

Supervised jovial Mini-B. for an hour-plus, wee man.

Upon Mrs. T-B.'s return, attempted nap but got none, no zzz man.

EVERY muscle in body hurts for some reason, why man.

From fever? From dehydration (sweating)? From something else, huh man?

Uncertain which heap-strong medicine to take tonight, huh man.

In good news, have broken low-weight milestone again, whee man.

We officially weigh Many. Many pounds, light man.

Pointed out that we are approaching Mrs. T-B.'s weight, see man; got dirty look, she man.

Grats on losing many pounds now stop rubbing it in. Baby won't let me lose weight my body is holding on to it /sigh

Haven't even compiled GS itinerary yet, no man.

Pickings look slim, sigh man.

Might have to drive to semi-distant 'burb, sigh man.

More immediately, must return to work tomorrow, sigh man.

have been feeling extra grumpy recently because of the summer heat + washington apartments not having any AC. we (i) decided to splurge on a portable AC unit today (after we bought a tower fan that was only minimally effective and were gifted a mini fan that was good for one person when pointed directly at them but not both of us together) - room is now a cool 61F! yay!

gonna shower and grab a couple drinks - beer for him, cider for me - and relax. ahhh. :)

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Interview went well probably because he is applying for a not very popular part time shift that could work around his school schedule. He'd have to leave the house at 3am. They give him a verbal job offer and are just waiting on the drug and background results.

Are Japanese employers understanding of this or is it going to be a big deal that you've "let your colleagues down" or some such thing?

61 degrees? You'll freeze!

it's actually 61? or the AC unit says 61?

61 is cold, esp for a tropic girl

'Tis cold for the summer and probably means a higher electric bill.

We've been keeping our A/C at 74, not that it gets much hotter than 84ish lately, but it keeps the inside livable.

I'd definitely keep the house at like 64 during winter, though.
