Years ago we had a guy in the office with melanoma. The constantly was getting sores on his skin that he was getting treated. He retired at one point, and on occasion I wonder if he ever got rid of it totally. Guy loved golf and couldn't stay off the golf course.

Most people don't. Eventually, even with years of remission, melanoma has a habit of being an metastic cancer and spreads ti internal organs, lymph nodes, and even the brain. My daughter remains pretty white because her grandfather had melanoma and she's at a 25% extra risk, plus she's white and freckles easily with a light red tinge to her hair (but is otherwise dark blonde/light brown.) She's rarely had any sort of even remote tanline. I wouldn't wish melanoma on my worst enemy.

Getting her to stay until citizenship so you guys can visit whenever?

Oh I still plan to keep working another 10 years or so. And yes I've been rather firm on the idea she needs citizenship before we can move there. After all, if we do manage to have kids, they'll be USA citizens and they may chose to live in the USA, or at least go to college here.

My youngest daughter is a redhead and it seems impossible for her to get any tan. She just burns in the sun, so she's pretty careful to avoid it.

So what is everyone thinking for supper. I don't know what to make all 4 big kids will be working, if I can make something before the middle two leave it would be nice.

Baseball season is almost over and then only the two older boys will be working so a least I will be able to cook for them.
