Did I mention that in two weeks it will be the 2 year anniversary of my dad's death from melanoma? I am a little passionate about skin cancer awareness as a result.

Jesus! I am so sorry I had a scare 8 years ago, one of my moles suddenly had a white halo around it, they cut it out and tested it - negative. I was relieved. This one is on my upper arm and it is itchy and raised. It hasn't been like that before, i'm going to my family doctor this week to get it looked at - and any others i have.

That's actually one of the things that worries me about the Philippines. People put bars on the windows to keep burglars out. But it also makes it darn hard to get out in the event of a fire. I keep thinking about how to do that and still make escape from inside possible. I'm sure there's a way that someone has already worked out, but I've never seen it used there.

Actually I had no such issue. If anything they keep it too cool here. Well the owner keeps turning it to reasonable levels, but there's a guy that prefers 60 degrees all year round and he keeps turning the thermostats back to there. But all the women's cycle talk made me feel the need to inject some male problem BS into the mix

I keep thinking of bailing to the Philippines and saying screw the working world. Don't tell my wife that, she'd be all over me to move there permanently now. Its looking like we'll go visit in February or March though.

They are almost ready. Almost.

Thankfully Ukrainian east border is far away from Polish border, but still there's something wrong with the fact, how the whole world is looking at Putin and not taking him seriously after what he's done in Crimea.

Tho I can't say I'm not happy that 27,000 Russian tourist are left outside the borders, on holidays all over world, because some Russian tourist agencies bancrupted (sp?)
