Congrats Nola. Take good care of yourself. Oh and drink all the coffee you want, that's what my mom did and I turned out fine. Just remember to add a little coffee to the baby's formula for the first few weeks to wean him/her off their caffeine addiction.

Jada if you're not planning to stick around their don't bother with buying. I understand the need to be done with rentals they suck, but look at it like a stepping stone to where you want to be. It will help you decide what you're looking for an that forever home.

Agreed! If you're sure the market is just going to keep rising quickly, then you can profit by owning. But if the market stagnates or worse yet drops, then that ownership is going to tie up your available credit line when you do decide where you want to stay long term. Say you can qualify for 200 Grand, and get 150 grand tied up in a home you're renting out. You won't be able to buy anything later until you sell or can qualify for that much more home.

Ontarkie - I am at the doctor's now and they will do the first ultrasound on Wednesday. They are doing bloodwork today. It is still early and the new obgyn was freaked out that I wasn't on progesterone and baby aspirin. I just hope it isn't ectopic or something.

NOLA U HAS BABBAH?

Hopefully, this is the longest I have made it thus far, but still a risk. 12 days of dark pregnancy tests though. That is a record for me.

Meh. Random cycles, nothing trackable, dogs ate my basal thermometer, I still love wine.

That's kind of a good explanation of my life minus the crotchety old people complaining about their medicare benefits.

How's the new home?

AND HOW R U?!

Hope you're doing well.

I am great taking shooting classes ;)

Seriously though....still here...dissolution being finalized on thursday, I have my driver's test on friday (as long as I stay calm and don't decide to go *weeeeee* and drive like a mad woman I be ok), liking wine more lately and dancing in the garage and singing while cooking.

MIL still believes that there is absolutely nothing wrong. *shrugs* Hubs is still being served to as a child (not by me) but he did agree to give me back money I paid for "our" bed so I appreciate that. FIL is still paying whatever MIL decides everyone else needs. And deeper in debt every day. She says "oh well" and he cannot sleep and simply accepts his bleak future.

That is all in a nutshell.

I did a charity bike ride last weekend, was great.

ok. thanks.

I am glad there is a place to go for opinions and reality check.

Ok glad you are in there, hopefully blood work will be all good. Maybe all that work the endo had you doing got your body back on track. Fingers crossed for you.

I just really wanted to have a place of my own rather than rent one but you think it is best if i wait 3 years and see how i am doing and get a place at that point ? hmmm....

YAY NOLA I missed that part !!!!!

Uncle Darnell mentioned 12 months.

Allow me to be more precise.

12 months at the same address, same bank account, with some credit cards, landline bill (very important), clothing store credit accounts, 30K in the bank, 1 year job history, and you'll have a credit history worthy (IMO) of getting a mortgage.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Well, I'm glad things are on the up and up and you're getting out of there. Soon their misery won't be your problem!

Good luck on the driving exam, you'll do wonderfully if you don't go with a belly full of wine. Teehee.
