perhaps we could tweak that to Dr. Katz- that would work!

And I am just trying to 'get my feet wet' before returning to the general hoi poloi (I know, only English outside of the Regional Forums!). This is a lot safer than in CE&HST! :D

Well, that would certainly help with anonymity in case of 'medical' law suits . . . :)

so it looks like the insurance plan my company offers is $90/month with a $30 copay for doctor visits if it's just me being insured, which i think is pretty decent. if i add jonas, however, it's $500/month. lame.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Oh I decided I'm going to be real brave and get in shape to run a marathon. Well that is if I can handle the heat/humidity with my asthma if not at least I will be in shape. Lucas is 6 months so I figure my milk is well establish now so exercising shouldn't be too hard on it if it does it should bounce back pretty easily.

well, i work for a non profit, so the benefits aren't going to be on par with the private sector. it would've been $500 for the both of us with a much higher copay with obamacare so, i'll take what i can get ya know?

his work also started offering insurance this month but it's $64 a week, with a $5000 deductible.

You can check if the ACA allows a better option - you don't have to go with your company's plan if you can get better coverage elsewhere, or if the option exists for Jonas to be on a separate plan. $500 a month is NOT good. Our former BCBS plan before my husband retired this year had $30 copays for doctors ($60 for specialists) but our monthly premium for both of us including separate dental was about $250.

we use GHI in our place. 15 co-pays all doctors. No co-pays for children.

free to employees, for now. We have to figure out who pays the excise tax.......
