Driving home from work last night and smoke starts pouring out of the heat/air vents. I think my blower motor decided to let its magic smoke out, as I've got no air now. At least I hope its the blower motor and not something that is a pain in the butt to change out.

That blows, si and sigh man.

I was worried about that when I first saw it starting to come out. The smoke came out only a short time and smelled electrical. With the outside vent open and the vehicle moving, I still get warm or cold air out of it. There's just no air going when stopped. The resistor going bad usually ends up with the blower only working in high speed, and shouldn't be in the vent path anyway. It they routed the harness through the vents, which I'd doubt, I suppose it could be the harness shorted and burned up. I looked up changing the blower, its pretty simple, just 4 bolts right on the passenger compartment side, and one connector for power.

Non-mechanical-English-only outside the regional forums, oj tak.

Lucas has been clingy since he got his needles. His sleeping has been crummy and naps all out suck, he will only sleep an hour at a time. Now that wouldn't be too bad if he would play on the floor, on in his saucer, but noooo he wants to be held.

Oh and I hate when I hit the mark forum as read. :ranting:
