Hearing of these animals, I finally realized why many cultures do not believe dogs should be in the house.

If you have no idea how to train them, then they should be out doors. In my wife's country they generally do not train their dogs and don't keep them in doors.

I know you've had more experience with this than me, but do you think it is true that small dogs are harder to potty train than large dogs?

In general yes. Its not that they're really harder to get the idea of where to go, its just smaller dogs seem to have a smaller bladder to hold it longer.

Edit

part of this is also related to body type. A thin bread will take longer to be able to hold it longer than a stocky breed. The stocky breeds appear to have the capability of having larger bladder and seem to start out with a larger bladder to.

Interesting.

So, I got an offer for a Amex Platinum card today with no limit. I thought only black cards had no limit?

Despite popular belief, the platinum cards do have limits. Generally, they'll contact you at 50k to make sure you can handle it.

Black card (amex black), despite popular belief, I don't have one. I'm not that vain. Ya gotta charge 250k a year to get one. It's the 1 percenter card.

Visa black, there's only 1 or 2 really exclusive ones. Barclay, and....Chase? Citigroup? Not sure.

That was an answer requiring thought....

One fiddy....(friends rate)

Trophie, I love ya babe....can I borrow your amex?

How do people not discover basement wife with your lack of door knob?

Bear traps out front. Lol. Almost nobody comes here. It's like a five alarm fire if someone comes up the driveway that we aren't expecting.

Yeah - car heaters. What we do is either three or four: Engine block heater. Oil Pan Heater. Transmission heater, if automatic. Plus battery blanket or pad.

If you want a car ready to go at any time, which we don't, it takes a lot of electricity. Otherwise it's three hours at fifty to sixty below before you can start them. I can put a propane blast heater on and do it in an hour, but that's also a pain in the rear covering everything up and watching so it doesn't catch your vehicle on fire.

so every time you go to a restaurant, charge it to the card. that's (at least) two meals a day for you, wife and kiddo, plus all of wife's relatives on a rotating basis, so it really shouldn't even take you a year, no? :P

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!
