since I am here might as well update you all....have had a couple of bad days (wine helped a lot), fell off my bike (because pride would not let me get off the bike when I knew I could not handle the road....so I deserved it).

Been there, done that, still wearing the scars almost 20 years later. :(

Other than that.....practicing when possible for the driving test and preparing for the dissolution. I think Nola asked if I was out yet...no, still in the house....we (work&I) decided to wait until after my divorce is final (11th of Sept) to get paperwork moving, not to have to re-do paperwork 300 times and not to have to take trips back and forth, I will keep his last name just to make things easier with SSN (that took 6 months to change to this name as is). I am slowly approaching the limits though and spending a lot of time in the garage - it is good for napping now that I cleaned it out.

This thread is getting rather morose.

Well got Lucas to bed. He is 16.7 lbs now man he is growing fast. I still don't like the way the nurse does the shots here, but as my kids old pedi is sorta retired and way too far. Plus it seems the way they do the shots at all the doctors around here. :crying:

If I didn't really like our pedi I would switch to our family doctor.

Jada sorry things have been rough, will send you some good vibes to keep you strong just a bit longer.

Nola, you need to take it easy and rest you have way too much going on.

Our pediatrician was really good with shots and everything. I loved their philosophy and will totally miss them.

I'm trying to relax. This is the longest I've made it without any sort of blood, but it is early and we are unlucky folks.

Well, I think part of the reason we got passed off to another contractor was that the first one was embarrassed that his estimate was so far off. The cost of materials = cost of first estimate including labor using same source of materials. When I saw the structural repairs that needed to be made my first thought was it was going to cost 8k+. It is a lot, but what can you do? At least it includes all the finishing work. The scope of the work in that space is way more than I thought it would be - 2 new arches/walls, a complete reframe of living room, a reframe of a very faceted roof over the surrounding areas, a reshaping of the roof in one area, etc.

T-Bone they do the thickest roll of fiberglass plus blown in fiberglass on top. Be envious. The rest of the house has massive amounts of cellulose. Also be envious that I don't have to use my air conditioner anymore. It isn't going above 75 for a long time. Then again, the heat will have to come on soon.

Many. Do you think that you got hosed re this casa, huh ma'am? Buy again, in hindsight?

Many. Envy, ma'am. What of this do you recommend for tropical climes, especially given that the Sequential Mexicans all said that we had enough insulation?
