rant-

So last week the pillock says if I email him the letter with all the pertinent info, he would copy, print and fax. So did that at least ten times.

Phoned to ask if the fax had been sent "Sorry. Not yet. I am in a bad place"

To make it even easier I faxed the letter twice, yesterday, so that it could be simply signed, and faxed out. Got a verbal promise that he would do it yesterday.

Phoned to check whether the mission had been accomplished- "not yet. I am depressed and my leg hurts".

Later got a text saying "don't be bitter"

How incompetent and dysfunctional is this guy????

Really frustrating. I want closure so that I have a chance of getting a tourist visa to visit friends at Xmas (and pick up my things that he can't be bothered to send on to me)

I think I will just do an "eat! pray and love"- go to India and Bali over Christmas. My faith in American males is at an all time low. Too many bullsh!tters out there. Living in Japan, I am not used to it.

I stayed at this same hotel last year in HK. It was truly a 5 star. This here same hotel in VA is 3 at best.....And cost more.
