Thanks :)

We had two tickets and the first one gave us a voucher for 2 bowls of popcorn, but since we hate popcorn tremendously, we let that voucher go :P

Oh popcorn will be the death of me, I love it and "m allergic to it but I subject myself to eat it all.

Today is a sad day.

I will wish the rest of the year goes fast, then slow right down once you get to pick her up again.

You mean like the post I was responding to with the religious nuts calling their child spawn of the devil - and meaning it? That kind of socialization? lol.

We're accustomed to the first line of attack against homeschool being the socialization fallacy. That's why I responded to his post. My God, the gang/drug culture in some schools is postitively frightening, and they're graduating kids that can't read. So it's pretty clear you don't give an automatic "A" for "socialization" to anyone hanging the sign day care or school on their door. Nor assume homeschool is somehow lacking in socialization skills.

We're bringing the kids to school ourselves. Before it was just to the playground when the other kids are on the equipment. The administrators told us they recognized us, and they have been cool with that. They were so gracious with us on our visit! And we loved the school, especially the way the grades are mixed. First graders take the lead with kindergarteners. Then they become second graders where the third graders mentor them. Two grades in every class, about ten kids per grade. K-8, less than a hundred kids in the whole school. It's a wonderful atmosphere. Only four classrooms going in a one-hallway school. So charming!

So he was introduced to the K-1 class and teacher formally yesterday. It is a tiny rural Alaska community so these kids see each other outside school too. Remember he is only four, not even qualified for school yet and we already have him in the building a year ahead of his age cohorts. The socialization is on our terms and the school is on board with us. We told them we'd do more field trips in there, using the library or maybe do workshops with the classes. We're thrilled that they were so welcoming.

Believe, there are not that many nuts like that woman was in the daycare world. They kind of filter themselves out as people do not stay with them. We were already looking for a new one when that occurred. And actually dealing with nuts is a reality in today's world.

But I will certainly admit you sound like you have a great situation going on for your kid.

1. Whaddayu mean -- most come straight from China and are Many% off, D ma'am!

Many. Pull over and lick it off, see here ma'am; do not fling it onto my windshield behind you, oj nie.

1 A friend who is a tool salesman tells me many of the tool manufacturers are working on pulling production out of China because of the poor quality is costing them their reputations and money due to returns.

Many. flinging it back on your windshield is the new trickle back theory in action. Pulling over and cleaning is the trickle down theory, and we've learned that doesn't work.

I wish I hate popcorn my body would be a lot happier.

I love popcorn! I'm surprised your body rejects it, back when I had to only eat nonallergic foods, popcorn was one of the foods they told me was ok.
