You should get some new ones!

Of all the pets we've had, they really are maybe my favorite so far.

Sometimes I think I would like too, but then I remember we have enough pets :D

Can I just say, you are very brave and courageous for becoming your mum's care taker. It is not easy being a carer for someone suffering a paranoid mental illness. I hope that you gained a good sense of humour - i say that because my sisters, Dad, and I have talked about the fact that those who have the hardest life lessons and experiences from burdens have the wittiest, most twisted, and out there humour! When you have felt what seemed like the worst in life, a funny situation is just damn hilarious! Laughing gets me by, some friends call me "giggles"

It's there for cake cutting! I'm not shanking my lovely hubby!

We call them g-strings and I believe he's wearing one half of an over the should boulder holder/brassiere on his noggin'

one - I wasn't given a lot of choice, as the other two sons bailed on it. My wife says I'm crazy with all my goofing around and jokes all the time. Gets on her nerves as I consider nothing sacred. Well I guess some of my jokes occasionally go into being poor humor. And you're right, I long ago learned you can laugh of cry, and laughing is much funner.

two - Well I hope you're not shanking the poor guy. Well unless he cheats, then all bets are off.

many - well I guess he's bringing dignity to the office!

I want to be happy. I want be confident. I want to be valued. I have to give myself those things, because no one else seems to want to, or maybe they don't see me doing it so they don't see the point either. Either way I've seriously reached my limit at taking carp from people. I know I just need to stand up for myself, and just be, and stop arguing that who I am is okay.

Just be Niki. Just be. :)

Exactly! Why do you feel the need to prove you're right to him? Be confident in that while you might not agree on something, you have the right answer for you.

He is. How so?

Look - finding a house is an evolution requiring:

time

timing

logistics and

calendar

if you two are not in accord on characteristics on house, then getting a house currently on the market will fail, each time,

as

you two will waste time bickering about the stuff, all should have been sussed out prior to starting the search.

If I were in his shoes, I'd be sitting down with you for 8 hours on a weekend, going over recently-checked-out picture books from the library on architecture styles, a map of the area you're interested in, instructions on how to look up online tax records, and in the end, have a great understanding of what type of house and in what area .

Later, when you find the next one, it's dead easy to go down the checklist in under 2 minutes, deciding to pull the trigger or no, even if 1100 miles apart from each other.

The current sales cycle (from now till 5 September) will be fierce, as couples with children are seeking houses inside a particular school district and competition to purchase is bloody. Yes, BLOODY.

Found it! I'll try making this when I get back to u.s. next week - we don't have a coffee maker at my parents place.

I'd be sourcing the coffee maker at any used appliance store nearby, for 10 bucks or less.

Yes, Seriously.
