Hi guys, i get so confused people tell me this and that..so let me ask you guys instead.

I am married to a usc and got a 2 year conditional gc,resident since 2/19/13 card expires 2/19/15. Went home to my country to get my kids since paperworks is sooo slow had to stay for 6months at the most..(3/27-9/27)

so my 3 questions are

1.when should i file my i-751?( does leaving the US between those 2 yr gc affects any filing dates)

2. Will i have a hard time coming back to The US for being gone for that long?

3.When can i get my US CITizenship based on my dates... For some reason i hate math and math hates me...thanks

1. File within 90 days before the card expires, your absence should not affect you filing. Your window begins 23rd Nov 2014

2. They may ask you at the border why you were gone that long and if you intent to make the US your main address etc. Be truthful and you will be fine.

3. 2/19/2016? I think?

Assuming you are still married to and living with the USC who sponsored you for your green card, you are eligible to apply for citizenship at the later of when you have:

a) Had your green card for 3 years; or

b) Been physically present in the USA for 548 days after receiving your green card.

However, there is a waiting line for citizenship - like everything!
